Illinois Lottery exploring Internet sales again
The reality of the IL lottery proceeds going towards the education budget is this:The budget for education remained the same. It is being supplemented and/or financed by lottery proceeds. Where is the rest of the money going? The average player thinks all of their money is going towards extra education costs and some of it is. But my question is where did that extra taxpayer money go that was apportioned to education before the lottery started supplementing it?The budget remained the same, they

Not satisfied with ILL Lottery answer
I am a frequent buyer of scratch off as sometimes I like to roll the dice. I only like to play the games in Illinois where a higher percentage of tickets are sold and the top prizes (TO MY KNOWLEDGE) are still available. Once in a while I will buy a whole book. Lately I have been trying the Miles of Millions game as that game still has the 3 top prizes left. I wrote a letter to the Ill Lottery asking them the proceduer on game books that are returned. If a book is returned and will never be dist

missouri powerball winner comes forward!
I just want to share few experiments I did recently with numbers. Although I never believed that one (or a system) can predict numbers with a good degree of accuracy but I thought of trying to do so by using one of the few best available business forecasting, modelling prediction software (This software has nothing to do with lottery). It forecasts the results based on historical data. It creates a model by which it predicts the numbers which includes both historical data and future data. I di

Hi All,I was humbled to be mentioned, as I am new here so thank you. Personally I love everyone! We are all human and make mistakes and say things that we should not. My motto is that if I want forgiven or excused then I show the same respect to others. No one is perfect, especially myself, and if I fall, or make mistakes, I would want my fellow members here, whom are all working on the same goals, to help pick me up and wipe me off and put me back on my feet.I am what God says I am and I can Do

Gtech lottery, gaming units may be split in sale
If Gtech Holdings Inc. is sold, as recent reports suggest, it may be marketed in pieces to buyers interested in its global lottery operations and gaming equipment business, analysts told Bloomberg News. The Wall Street Journal published a report Tuesday indicating Gtech received an unsolicited expression of interest from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s private equity unit. Gtech, the world's biggest seller of computerized lottery systems, told Bloomberg News Monday it was considering an unsolicited

Is it possible....
I'd say the possibility of other winners is the torpedo fate could launch at this sort of effort, no matter what size the jackpot. I'd agree the chances of it would be a lot better with $500M than it would be at $350m.But the physical limitations of buying that many tickets seem to me to be almost insurmountable, in any case. If a consortium of players was large enough to do it the split would grind it down to a point where it wouldn't be worth the trouble.Maybe if someone, maybe a Jack Whitta

Who do you propose is going to pay for those cars that turn into reptiles? Who do you think is going to pay for spacecraft to fly around the universe? Do think the rich and famous are going to donate their riches? Fat chance Madonna, Oprah, Tom Cruise, or P-Diddy is going to give up their riches; they'll preach the good, but then take their private jets back to their mansions and enjoy their Bently's. Do you think the French, or the Germans, or the Netherlands, are going to pay for these items?

I'm glad you aren't in my shoes then cause i have four children ages 10 -15- 25 and 31 and the older two have multiple children. Trying to communicate with any one of them at the different levels of colloquialism is enough to drive a sane person up the wall, good thing I'm kind hip to their different generational avenues because otherwise they wouldn't accept me in their surroundings. And it's a good thing i can deal with their generational attributes because otherwise they would shut me out. An

.......if you won 500 million
New set of tires, clutch and maybe an engine rebuild for the 4Runner, new trannie for the Montero, tires for the trooper, engine rebuild, or at least new rings, main and rod bearings, rear main seal, rear transmission seal, pay someone else to change the oil, hoses, belts on all of them.Think through pretty carefully whether there's any livestock I wish was in my life that isn't, given I could hire an illegal alien to take care of them while I was doing other things.A Maule, STOL with a good st

Arriving at the lottery headquarters
not me. no way, no how, no sir. when i win (and even if i am the new jack in town when i do), you will never see my face. nor will you hear any quotes from me. i cannot afford to show up at the place where the jack was sold, even incognito . you never know who might be lurking around, and their subsequent abilities at relieving someone of thier life/ jack .i will instruct my financial team that they will (along with my approval) hire an attorney just to show up and collect the ch
