lottosynchronizer idea!!
Here's an Idea! It's a software that always picks the other numbers . Since all the software out there sucks and no one here can pick their way out of a wet paper bag, wouldn't it be better to have a software that would crunch all the numbers, and then, always pick the very last combinations? Those are always where the winners are right? We'll all form a Network of Number Crunchers, and a collage of the best pickers on the forum and pool all the data together. Then we'll toss all of it out! T

OK - I see your point. Odds of winning the jackpot are 1::13,983,816. You're playing 3 games for $2.00. Therefore, if you take the jackpot odds and multiply them by 2/3, the jackpot odds per dollar are 1::9,322,544. But is it meaningful? Looking at the bottom line, the payout percentage for the jackpot is 13.27%. Period. That means that of every dollar spent on the game, 13.27 cents will be allocated to the jackpot pool. Out of approximately every $7.54 invested in the game, $1.00 will be paid o

Jack Whittaker in trouble with law!
...but on a more serious note, on the evening of December 25th, 2002, I remember buying my tickets for the drawing. Am I sad that a portion of the four dollars that I spent on that drawing went to Jack Whittaker?...not really. I took a chance that evening, just as I do for every Powerball drawing. I don't know what the future PB jackpot winners will be like or how they will spend my dollar contributions. I simply continue my part (feeding the jackpot pool) thinking that someday maybe it'll be my

How much would you pay?
hypersoniq,I would never suggest using a lottery pool to play pick 3 or pick 4 games. As mentioned in my previous post, lottery pools work best with large jackpots where a fraction of the jackpot is still LOTS of money. This is why I posted the ACME question in the Jakcpot Games forum, rather than the Pick 3 or 4 forums. In response to your second comment, combos never disappear, magically or otherwise. But it is a mathematical fact that 2 tickets have twice the chances of winning over a single t

MM Drawing for Friday 12-19-03
RJ: 1st set of numbers is an office pool, my cost on that was $1....plus the time to makeup a small worded contract....(they're all quick picks),,,second set is my top 15 plus due to my impatience 5 sets of numbers with, due to hit, 3 even 2 odd and vice versa, plus some overdue MB's, and sequentials that I like.....what can I say, luckily I mostly stick to one game and its slow enough at work that I have time to really look at the numbers,,,,, I'll give that lottery poker game some thought. Are Lotteries Rigged
Jim, political discussions, even about lottery oversight, are probably outside the scope of this furum, but I'd be interested in what yuo should find and accomplish.FYI, I ran some of the information provided by the Indiana Lottery website on the Hoosier Lottery through my software and was mildly surprised. Given the average quoted pari-mutuel payouts, the payout percentage for the game with the base million dollar jackpot is a paltry 33.62%. The million dollar jackpot constitutes 24.24% of the

MM Tuesaday Draws to view( a big one)
I agree with four4me, I think everyone should acknowledge the time consuming effort LottoKing put in. I agree there are alot of sets of numbers there, unless you got alot of money, it would be hard to play them, unless you are in some kind of pool. That being said if anyone has software that could filter down these sets, that might be a more viable option. Something tells me LottoKing through time will refine his choices in future draws, to a more economical selection, or maybe just post 18 o

Very quietly I take my leave As quietly as I came here; Quietly I wave good-bye To the rosy clouds in the western sky. The golden willows by the riverside Are young brides in the setting sun; Their reflections on the shimmering waves Always linger in the depth of my heart. The floating heart growing in the sludge Sways leisurely under the water; In the gentle waves of lotterypost I would be a water plant! That pool under the shade of elm trees Hold

covermaster- need help
Luckycat, not sure I understand your question correctly but CoverMaster will not generate or pick numbers to play. It is not designed for that. It will make wheels for you, you must supply predictions by other means.Try this simple wheel as an example:Pool:10> Pick:6> Match:5> Hits:6> Generate>Start> ... you'll get 15 lines ... >Finished.go to Configure>Own Numbers>Set ... now you can put in the 10 preds you want to wheel ...>Apply.go to Configure>Own Numbers>

Lottery Pools - Your Thoughts??
Quote: Originally posted by Lottery_Analyst on November 21, 2003 I am considering starting a part time business to establish pools for small groups of people that would like to play together. For example, I would set up a pool for 5 people to play Mega Millions. Each person would contribute $5.00 and 90% of the pot would go to buying tickets and 10% for administration. So for $5.00, each person would have 22 tickets played for them and would be entitled to 1/5 of any of the winnings. This is on
