What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
RJOh
Statistician + Unbiased = Oxymoron
But this is just my unbiased opinion.

Do statistics trump all other forms of math where lotteries are concerned?
RJOH and RickG don't post a lot about what they're doing, but they stay at the top of the Top Predictors list.
I once was posting everything I'm doing in a thread that ran over 40 pages until I was told by other members that I was starting to repeat myself and it was too troublesome going back to read some of my previous posts. The thread was Creating a Winning MegaMillions System in which I explained how I picked 20 lines for every MM drawing and posted the first 10 on the prediction page. I

RJOH: It's a 40 mile drive from here to buy the nearest lottery ticket. I'd have to hit a lot better than I've been doing on the predictions page to break even on gasoline. Maybe if I ever get so I'm as good a predictor as you I'll buy the gas. But for now I'll settle for lotteries just costing the price of membership here.
When my paid membership runs out I'll be breaking even on the lotteries unless I improve at predicting and decide I need to buy tickets and lose for the school children of

As a matter of fact I would say that a very large amount of them are nothing more then random groups
of sets made by people who do it for fun while not spending anything but a little of their time.

What is a lottery system? What distinguishes a lottery system from guesses, dreams and quick picks?
RJOH: Creditability isn't among my intended virtues. I admire yours but I don't envy it.
I'm here for fun, for several of the site features, and to read posts on some of the forums. Ideas inspire me and energize me. The posts of many of those I admire less than I admire you sometimes still give me ideas without arousing a need to have them change themselves in any way. If I had to choose between the fun I have here and the ideas I paid for a membership to access I'm not sure which I'd g

Seems sound as lottery reasoning goes, RJOH. Thanks for the reply.
Another exception to your last sentence might involve the multiplier option. Especially if a player had the multipliers included in whatever the system involved.
Thanks again for the well-thought-out reply.

Combos & Patterns - Update - Mega Millions thru 03/15/11
I had a discussion with RJOH back in Nov 2010. You can view this at: www.lotterypost.com/topic/223745
All jackpot games have combinations patterns in them. It's a fact that certain combination of balls come in more often than others. I look for these combinations put them into groups. If you go to the above topic/223745, it might answer some of your questions.
If not, let me know I will send you a private message.

MATH 5/39: Stack47, Garyo1954, RL-RANDOMLOGIC VS Jimmy4164
When it comes to playing lotteries I like picking my numbers my way using my system and I'm sure RL feels the same way.
BINGO!
There is no right way or wrong way to pick numbers. There is no reason to jump someone when they post a system. We're here to learn from others, share ideas.
Very well said RJOh.

Determinism vs Randomness and Chance
He wants to know has anyone come up with a better way to win than luck...
This is a very revealing statement RJOh. It's not the first time you and others have made similar assertions regarding my motives for asking for proofs of the efficacy of systems. Believe it or not, it is amusing to me. Why? Because what it tells me is that you are so steadfast in your belief that there exists a reliable system capable of providing an income stream from secondary prizes that you find it impossible to
