It's early, but this might end up being the funniest lottery news of 2020. I wonder how many times this happens all over the country and lottery officials don't bother calling the police because it's just so pathetic it's funny. It's funny you mention the donut shop. One thing that surprised my out-of-state guests was how many hole-in-the-wall donut shops there are around CA that sell lottery tickets. And not big national chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme, just run-down looking joints. My usual spot to buy them is also one of these places.
