Fingers and Toes, Here We Go!
Stack47 said, You should have taken Abe Lincoln's advice before answering a question about SAS. Because I said, SAS isn't necessary. The simple, surefire way to ensure a jackpot win is to convince the lottery in question to remove all the balls from the machine which are NOT on your ticket before they start the spin! Stack47, RL-RANDOMLOGIC, and RJOh should look up the meanings of Irony, Metaphor, and Sarcasm. They miss a lot.

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
RJOH Although I don't think my winning 50K or so would warrent any national press coverage. I hope to win a big one but not picky, a couple 3 of 5's will make my day. RL

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (Discussion)
TO: Stack47 CC: RJOh Stack47 says, I never claimed I could do better making imaginary wagers or feel the need to impress anyone by making one. Oh, OK. I'm sorry that your abstract reasoning skills are hindering your ability to make the connection between what you call Imaginary wagers and real money wagers. Unfortunately, this is not a skill you can easily improve through study. You want us to believe that the reason you don't participate in the Challenges is because your imaginary

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (Discussion)
RJOh, You're correct regarding Todd's comments on the Powerball article, but if you look back at the attacks I had to deal with when citing Wikipedia to explain The Gambler's Fallacy, I think you'll find a different story. Although I don't fully agree with Todd's critique of the PB article, he cited a specific passage and what he didn't like about it. Those who have a strong psychological need to believe in the fallacy blindly mounted emotional attacks on Wikipedia itself without attempting t

I think I lost a friend of 15 years.
Pretty much what RJOh said, plus .... A: (Hopefully) you've learned how many more people have this same sense of entitlement -- the unspoken arrangement that you eat the losses and we share the wins. B: You only THINK you had an argument at 30 mins long. This lesson cost you only the price of a couple of dinners -- i.e. be glad you didn't ask her for an opinion on a jackpot game's numbers ... and had won. The price of your learning could have been much higher and gone on for months.

Your "For Life" Jackpot Numbers for 5/39 Games
Aha! Well that makes perfect sense. Just bought the new version so that explains it. Thanks for clearing that up! Boy, an awful lot of games have sure changed their matrix. Must've been having too many winners, lol,so they have to keep making it more difficult for us. My question to you,Rjoh.......isn't it confusing to mix the results from 2 different game fields? Of course you have a lot more data for research...that's a plus! And going from 37 to 39 isn't such a big deal probably but just wo

Smoothjuice, I am of the mindset as rjoh stated. With the following addage: A gift given comes with NO STRINGS attached. If I ever had the shoe on the other foot I would definitely be of the mindset that GREAT I am glad you won! ANd leave it at that....It wasnt my money that won it, its not my place to behave poorly and cry foul. You outdid yourself by sharing a dinner and some cash. that was above gracious. Amazing how some folks internalize things instead of looking outwards at the goodn
