Post your scratch ticket results
Well after some luck last week with the 100X tickets going to different locations, decided to try the GRT this past Wednesday because everybody seems to do well on those, and for $500 seem to have the best odds. First place his was Publix. First ticket #010 was a loser, but the next one #011 out of the Vending Machine hit for $100. (+60) That's when I should have stopped. But decided to cross the street to the Kangaroo Valero. 2 Straight Losers, and then a $20 even winner. This was on (#10

Winning lottery ticket pits Pa. brothers against each other

Drinking luck The saga began at Johnny Joe's Sports Bar Grill in Hampden Township in late May, when Sharp and Meehan were knocking back a few drinks, and

Lottery vending machines coming to Arkansas
When the Arkansas Lottery awarded a contract to the Greece-based Intralot in August of this year, one requirement was that the lottery services company provide 100 ticket vending machines. The lottery commission has yet to roll out the machines, but a non-operational model can be seen at the claims center in downtown Little Rock. Lottery director Ernie Passailaigue says Arkansans will start to see the machines this spring, sometime around March or April. But while lottery officials hope to re

Cheated winner wants Texas Lottery to pay up
There's aspecific legal definition, and your concept of what that means doesn't appear to be based in reality Lottery retailers are called licensed retail sales agents on the license application and in the Texas Revised Code chapter 466, section .002 DEFINITIONS (subsection (9): sales agent or sales agency means a person licensed under this chapter to sell tickets . It's obvious the person holding the license is in fact selling and redeeming lottery tickets on behalf of the TLC and I'm not

21 Combinations
Hi LottoHackJack It is rather funny that what you are suggesting in relation to my previous post! You said; The ticket-vending deadline is probably required to make sure that all vending machines are offline and disabled before the draw, so that the vendors/public-at-large cannot purchase a winning ticket combo after the draw has already occurred and been made official. ...and therefore all possible measures are considered to reassure that public cannot purchase unauthorised t

Opponents of lottery say 'I told you so'
A database consultant alleges the N.C. Lottery didn't deliver the money promised By Frank Koconis The N.C. Education Lottery has been in operation for barely a year, and so far the state has seen little benefit from it. The promised boost in education funding is much smaller than expected, and for certain programs, nonexistent. Even worse, some of the ominous predictions of those who originally opposed the lottery appear to be coming true. The lottery simply isn't bringing in nearly as

Store owner's lottery bonus put on hold
The store owner who sold the unclaimed $3.5 million Connecticut Classic Lotto ticket in February will not be receiving his $10,000 sales commission unless he settles outstanding accounts with the state lottery, according to a spokeswoman for the lottery. Zee Zahid, proprietor of Coventry Getty Mart, was to receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket on Feb. 14, 2006. But the expected windfall became more hassle than help for Zahid. No, I didn't get the $10,000, and they gave
