TV station investigates repeating Kentucky Lottery scratch winners
With all the winners, scratch-off and otherwise, in Coldwater Michigan I have wondered if Lansing and Indianapolis have been trading favors . I dont recall ever seeing any outlet in Coldwater being in the list of top Michigan retailers but they sure do win alot of big prizes for a town of that size and of course it is just a coincidence that they are so close to Indiana.
Perhaps it is Just what RJOH says and what happens most is most likely to happen again.
If that is the case then you

What is your lotto IQ?
I'm with ThatScaryChick and RJOh.
Knowledge of the game and personal results are two separate things.
If you'd want to call it IQ, and if we're talking PB and MM, concsidering odds of 176 million or 195 million to one, I'd say that the lotto IQ would drop with each additional dollar spent on the same game.
The lotto IQ would also drop with the belief that a system to beat lotto exists, or that if there was such a system the game would still be offered to be played.

I need someone to calculate the odds of this happening
Todd,
I've seen the odds of winning a lottery twice in a row and that is always the odds of winning it once squared (1:1000 x 1:1000 or 1:1000000). Why wouldn't it be same for a random number generated twice in a row?

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
Rjoh: I am having trouble finding your past predictions when they are not here in this thread.
Could you please still post them here.
Thanks

Ohio Classic Lotto STILL going up!
Keep your head up RJoh...we Buckeyes are a resilient lot.
Played my and my family's name/birthday numbers on Saturday. Spent $30, won $74. Managed to match 4/6 once. Figured numerological numbers have as good a chance as statistical numbers.
Gonna cash this one in tomorrow, and play $30 more, the rest goes into my checking account for my phone bill

Pick Your Own Price Lottery
Besides, if a 100 or a 1000 line wheel could make money at a penny a line, it could make money at a dollar a line. RJOh
Even if you could buy all the millions of combinations to guarantee a win the payoff would be roughly half the amount invested, except for some rollovers and then there's the risk of multiple winners.
Where it would get interesting, that hundred dollar LottoTrix wheel would be a dollar to play, that 120-160 line Ken Silver wheel would cost $1.20 to $1.60 to play, e
