Win $1,000,000 a Year for Life
Yes the game has been out since 2008. I believe there were/are 6 jackpot winners. 4 already claimed. One in 08 by a transplanted NYer investment banker purchased at JFK. Two upstate (one was late last year) and one in Queens, NY. The way the winners seem to come out is once a year so I really think one or both jackpots left are lost. Too bad NY Lottery took away their winners atlas. They said they have 'no plans on bringing it back'

Cash 4Life
Yeah Kap, I think interest in Cash 4Life is dropping, not only in this forum, but in ticket sales too. If people don't see many jackpots being won, they wont play the game. That's exactly what happened to Sweet Millie. The shame of it all is SM had decent odds. C4L doesn't.

What actually happens when you win the lottery.
I've never heard of Texas, or any MUSL state really, advancing funds not received for jackpots. Seems like that would open up a liability for them. I did a quick search on Texas' regulations and found this: If necessary, when the due date for the payment of a prize occurs before the receipt of funds in the prize pool trust sufficient to pay the prize, the transfer of funds for the payment of the full lump sum cash amount may be delayed pending receipt of funds from the party lotteries. Basically

What actually happens when you win the lottery.
Years ago, one of our members here wrote to several state lottery office with a list of questions regarding claiming major jackpots and the procedures. Most answered, some did not. Texas did. They posted the responses from each state lottery office. I've searched for that thread and found it! https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/236652 It does not address advancing funds on a multi-state game that has not been fully collected from the other states. In light of the recent MM jackpot being won in

What actually happens when you win the lottery.
As the others have said, it depends on the state and amount won. Where I am, up to $1 million, you can have your funds deposited into your account the same day as long as you complete the paperwork before 4pm. otherwise it's deposited the next business day. Large jackpots I think they say takes 14 days, but that timeframe changes with when the claim is made. That is, the person who shows up to claim the day after the jackpot is won is probably going to wait longer for a deposit than the person w

The new odds for Mega Millions have been a failure!

How many people have actually won the starting jackpot?
I was kinda curious, how many people have actually won the starting jackpots; be it Powerball, Mega Millions, or any state lottery(that exeeds 1mil)? Do you play or wait till the prize gets larger?

Powerball & Mega millions getting boring?
I don't think it's boring at all. I'm just impatient and disappointed that my numbers haven't hit yet! I'm OK with the jackpots getting hit before reaching $300 million. I'd rather have multiple smaller jackpot winners (from various states) than one GLORIA winner any day!

Millionaires - One Super Or More Minis?

Would You Play This MUSL?
No, the odds are too small, it would get fleeced and go bankrupt in no time. You'd never see large jackpots. Bump the odds to at least 1 : 999,999,999,999 and it might be worthwhile.
