That will always be the case......truth will always prevail -the evidence is there but nobody will openly admit it -I had this discussion with a connected person supplying the hardware so I know luckily how it works, but looking on the up does this mean we should now all stop playing -BIG NO as although its tough to hit the jackpot -its a question of timing to win and produce the numbers. Jackpots get hit and peoples lives change over night. I think its rather a question of ONLY playing jackpots

You didn't offer enough information to determine the legitimacy. When the PB and MM jackpots are super high, literally thousands of people form groups and polls, but ticket sales don't indicate any spike with lower jackpots. However without knowing which games, cost of play or any real information, impossible to say if it's a scam or not.

Powerball is custom to make changes every few years. 2015 was the last expansion I believe. To me going abroad to other develop countries to offer Powerball will be the next best step. I kinda like 2 dueling jackpots 4 times a week. More opportunity to score a million. But if Powerball wants to be the leader then more tickets must get sold to push jackpots north of 500M.

What I meant to say and didn't was with those nice numbers...all even, was surprised that NOBODY hit for the top two tier prizes...Alexa, you let me down. My second point was 'in the old days' MUSL used to bump up jackpots when they got sizable; guess $298 million wasn't up there. Seriously doubt they'll ever bump up jackpots anymore, the thrill is gone as BB King would sing.

If powerball and mega millions merge because of this I want $2 tickets and twice a week because when I play multi-state games I expect to see a big jackpot not a litttle one that is what Oregon megabucks is for. So if you want $1 tickets you still expect small jackpots and I want jackpots regularly passing $500 million if they merge to see one winner. In the interest of fairness and transparency, shouldn't Mega Millions and Powerball tell us how much sales have dropped over the last few weeks so that we can know that these changes are realistic. They are always ready to crow during big jackpots about weekly, daily and even hourly sales. Now we hear nothing. On another note, they should also drop the price now that they are lowering the jackpots while the odds of winning the same.

Haven't heard a peep about MM. Seems odd because they're in the same boat as PB. Sales aren't too good. That's why I think combining the 2 games into 1 would make sense. I'm not the first to say that, but right now it makes the most sense, and make it $1 per ticket. We may not see jackpots reaching $300-$400 million or more again, but jackpots that exceed state's lotto games because it would be a national game.
