I live in Louisiana too and I seldom play the Lotto. The prizes increase only $25k-$50k every time the jackpot rolls. We do need Lotto South. I like how those prizes get in the millions and u can choose ANNUITY if u win. I don't know why people don't check tickets. I always check mine. Of course I'd love to have that $500k winning ticket. I wonder if Louisiana can afford to start the Lotto jackpot at $3 or $4 million. That's sure to get sales up. i'd buy it then.

Jumbo Bucks always had lots of prizes. This is the most I've seen by far. I don't really like Jumbo Bucks because the odds for this $2 ticket stink! However, that 31 $50,000 prizes gets my attention. I agree. Take tonight, $30 million cash after taxes. If you took $20 million of that and got just a 3% return on it, you'd make $50,000 a month, or $608,000 compounded in 1 year.
