Sounds like he's closer to Canada, they have a couple of 6/49 games up there that have pretty decent jackpots most of the time. Six hundreds miles is a long way to travel just to lost money, he may prefer to just post some predictions and settle for bragging rights if his numbers come in.

Big jackpots strike me the opposite way, as they groe I hope they get hit before the fever kicks in. The media goes nuts, all of a sudden there's all these 'experts', and on TV and in the News threads people go really nuts talking about all the things they're going to do with money they haven't won. I must admit that when a big one gets hit and things calm down on LP most threads are about Pick 3, kind of entertaining.
