We have our pool tickets for the next Mega Millions draw. This time we got one ticket with a 5 times multiplier and one ticket with a 10 times multiplier. It is great getting the bigger multipliers but we need them to hit. We had a lot of larger multipliers in the previous draw but none of them hit. Our pool has their tickets for the Friday Mega Millions draw. We did very well with the multipliers. In the previous two draw, our highest multiplier was 3 times. But with our new tickets, the lowest multiplier is 3 times! Plus with have 2 tickets with a 5 times multiplier and 1 ticket with a 10 times multiplier. Good luck to everyone playing on Friday!

California prizes are hard to figure out. I know that one won a lot less than normal because the state sold only about 1 million tickets, and the odds of a second place win is 1 in 11 million. 1/11th of $1 million is half of what was actually awarded, and I think that is because the 3rd place prize of $50,000 had no winners, so the prize pool for that one was given to the 2nd place prize.
