California Lottery is booming, thanks to higher payouts
After years of decline, the California Lottery is booming. The jackpots are bigger, and that's drawing more players and excitement.
Just a few weeks ago, a Mega Millions ticket sold in San Jose matched all six numbers. The state-record prize of $324 million worth about $174 million in a single payment was claimed by a Northern California man Friday.
The turnaround is due to changes made to the lottery in 2010, when revenues were on the decline. The changes brought bigger prizes, but they a

Record Florida Powerball winner buys $1.175 million home
The gold Ford Focus has disappeared from the dirt driveway. Also gone is the neighbor kid's congratulatory crayon drawing of palm trees, taped to the door of the tiny gray duplex where Gloria MacKenzie lived until she won $590.5 million, the largest single jackpot in American lottery history.
Records show that MacKenzie, 84, traded her former rental unit in for a 6,322-square-foot, five-bedroom home in Glen Kernan Country Club, a gated golf course community in southeast Jacksonville. The pric

Tracking 101
Hey LP! We finally converted the Pick 4 Formula Sets into Excel, special thanks to Carli! The only thing left for us to do: track and identify trends.
Before we get started though, please consider that these methods take hard work, patience, time, and dedication.
Method 1 Using the Calendar
Okay guys, the calendar is the best tool to find the next winning number. There are many clues, trends, and patterns for you. You need to figure out what past winning number to use.

Beware of sharks swimming in your office lottery pool
Linda Sebastian enjoys her job , but she knows exactly what would happen if the members of her office lottery pool hit their numbers and won Wednesday's record $500 million Powerball jackpot.
My group, we'd wipe our whole floor out, she laughed. There'd be nobody left in the office.
Even her boss is a member of the pool. I tease him all the time, she said. I say, 'I'll meet you at the lottery headquarters.'

$500 MILLION: Powerball jackpot increased to a half-billion dollars
By Todd Northrop
Only once before has the United States or the world witnessed a lottery-buying frenzy like we are seeing this week.
That was in March, when the multi-state Mega Millions game was busy setting a record for the largest jackpot in world history.
This time it's Powerball's turn to make people stop what they're doing and line up for lottery tickets.
Powerball tickets are being bought at such a rapid pace that the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL), which operates the

How do you determine which root sum to pick for the next day
Where are your draw per draw figures? Are you only considering skips and averages. I don't use LotSoft so don't fully understand
how you are applying the information other than just using what seems to be long out or least out or averages information.
When you examine the information collected, what are you getting from it? A root sum/sum to play according to skip/missing/average
data?
LotSoft I think is popular and used by quite a few posters here but where is your simple data? Wher
