Let's just say the 75 number MM never gets hit...
Just for conversation (and to entertain the lottery official lurkers) let's say the MM with a 75 number top matrix never gets hit, that is never pays out a jackpot. The jackpots build but no one ever hits one so at that point the matrix is reduced (has that ever happened with any game?)
If that were the case, would you trust MM and would you still play it?

Just had a new thought about Mega millions
If I had a dollar for every lottery conspiracy theory floated on the Internet, I'd be richer than the biggest lottery winner of all time.
The lottery people don't care how many people win a jackpot. They still pay out the same amount. If you want to have a good conspiracy theory, consider this: Jackpots are only won about 1 in 9 drawings on average. This financially benefits the lottery because the payout of a 9 rollover jackpot costs them less than if there had been winners in each of the 9

The New Mega Millions Game - So Do You Like It Or Not?
I have won $5 because of the megaplier. I have a ten draw ticket for the whole month of november and I have won only once out of the first three draws on the ticket. I like that it is only a $1 to play but if it was $2 to play I would like it better because maybe the odds would be lower. Anyways it costs me $2 because I play the multiplier on it. I guess they do not want players to think that they are trying to be like powerball too much. But if the odds were better than they are now and the jac

Take5 NY
If anybody was going to hit four numbers in Take5, last nite was the night to do it. $1,031 bucks for 4 numbers.
Does anybody know if The NY State Lottery has recently changed the split with regard to how much money is paid out of the total ticket sales pool to T5 winners and how much they keep? (Out of all they money they take in via T5 ticket sales, what percentage is allocated to T5 players with winning tickets and what percentage does the state keep?)
Guys, I hate to say it, but I thin

How interested are you REALLY?
LB- One wonders how much knowledge 84 year old Gloria had before winning one of the largest jackpots in history? Was she a disciple of Gail, going over her many books and immersing herself in her charts and wheels?
* If it is a Caged Match between Gail and Todd- my money is on Todd.-

Motivation to still purchase despite odds...
My motivation is that A LOT of people win jackpots.
If you consider the odds, the number of winners is quite staggering. I don't want to be the odd man out and not be one of the only losers.

N.Y. man accused of pulling box cutter on clerk after lottery mistake
it doesn't happen to me that often but a couple of months ago when the old matrix was still in force, a clerk incorrectly entered my Mega Ball as 41 instead of 42 which had clearly been shaded on the play slip. I thought of requesting the clerk for either a refund of my dollar to replay the ticket. Luckily, I had another dollar and played the correct combination of my choice. I kept the erroneous ticket in the hope that a guardian angel may have been behind this mistake, for how many times have

N.Y. man accused of pulling box cutter on clerk after lottery mistake
When I use to travel to Michigan to buy BigGame tickets before MM came to Ohio, I brought my ticket at a truck stop that had a sign stating customers had to either buy quick picks or make out play slips. I always thought it was because of the crowd they got for the large jackpots but maybe it was to avoid such incidents with pissed off customers.
I'm a system player so I always make out play slips, I take full responsibility for the numbers I play.

Tickets for updated Mega Millions game on sale Saturday
I agree that there are many state lotteries that do indeed offer better odds and jackpots that are much greater than the 2nd tier prizes from PB and MM. There is nothing wrong with someone dreaming about winning a lottery jackpot but there are many who are obsessed that winning the jackpot will be the answer to all their problems.
I truly believe it is unhealthy to rely on a big lottery jackpot to fulfill one's dreams but that doesn't mean I object to anyone spending a few bucks for the possi

Tickets for updated Mega Millions game on sale Saturday
Prior to this it was said the 5 + 1 games paid 12 to 15 jackpots a year.
I don't think that will happen wirh MM anymore with a 75 number upper matrix.
Going for 5 + 0 might be the best shot, if your state lotery jackpot in less than $5,000,000.
MM 5 + 0 1 in 18,492,204
IL Lotto JP 1 in 20, 358, 520. 6/52 game.
Of course with MM you might catch 5 + 1, but for the millions who never did it with a 56 number grid what makes them think they'll do it with a 75 number grid.
