Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I agree I think it's going to end up between 1.45 and 1.5 tonight.
The worksheet is reporting a supported annuity of 1.411, and I'd imagine they're still being deliberately conservative, so 1.45 seems likely to be close to the least we should be expecting.
Saturday is projected at 1.7 but I'll be surprised if it's not between 1.8 and 1.9
They're forecasting sales of $467 million, and a supported annuity of 1.762, so I'd think it should easily get to 1.8. Based on the current foreca

Iowa Lottery annihilates world record for most people playing scratch-off tickets at once
The almost 1,400 people in that park now all have bragging rights.
I can picture them old and frail, telling their great, great, grand kids how they broke a world record
The story begins It was in the Summer of 2025, over 100 degrees outside .......
And so the story goes.
Congratulations to all that attended and to the winners as well.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
We are also skipping Mega Millions this week. Waiting for the jackpot to get a lot bigger. At least bigger than Powerball.
My reasons are very different than MM's reasons, but I'm hoping that we'll see a ridiculously large jackpot in 3 months or so. By that time PB will either have been won or be well beyond the current record. Either way, at $5 per ticket for essentially the same odds I think it's foolish to buy a MM ticket unless it's substantially bigger than PB. Regardless of what PB is

Bobby's Ohio Pick 3 Predictions 5/1-5/31
I'm sympathetic for the gambler. As a seasoned 62, Bobby---while bartending most of my life I was always around gamblers from running the front room sports pools to lining up the back room poker games. Punching in numbers at the machine, or handing over scratch offs. If I was still out there everyday a few feet away from a lottery kiosk I'd be playing numbers everyday. Plus buying the tickets punched in by mistake. Why? cause, I love to gamble, and I'm a degenerate too, but I finally learned you

Good Luck!
When you look at how the commission performed under Gary Grief, and the questions of misappropriation of funds, possible fraud on the lottery players of the state, add in the 2023 $95 million payout, plus the $1 million payout to China nobody can get answers to, a payment that was filed late by the way, his record isn't all that good IMO.
The wheeling and dealing with the same third party sellers involved in selling these tickets doesn't help his image any. That he brought these people into

hello h y per =
To create benchmarks in lotteries, we can use statistical and probabilistic concepts to analyze past results and identify patterns or trends. Although draws are independent events and have no memory (i.e., the outcome of one draw does not influence the next), we can establish metrics to evaluate the behavior of numbers over time. Below are some suggested benchmarks that may be useful:
1. Median Number Frequency
Calculate how often each number has been drawn in a specif

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
Totally guessing at how lottery reality works, but it makes an awful lot of sense to be able to reprint tickets within some short window in case there's any kind of problem. You'd hope the machine knows if it's out of paper, but knowing that a ticket is illegible is a much bigger ask. Whatever causes a problem with the original ticket, the obvious solution would be an ability to reprint recent tickets. Slapping a great big R on it would be an easy way to identify the ticket as a reprint without
