I agree I think it's going to end up between 1.45 and 1.5 tonight. The worksheet is reporting a supported annuity of 1.411, and I'd imagine they're still being deliberately conservative, so 1.45 seems likely to be close to the least we should be expecting. Saturday is projected at 1.7 but I'll be surprised if it's not between 1.8 and 1.9 They're forecasting sales of $467 million, and a supported annuity of 1.762, so I'd think it should easily get to 1.8. We are also skipping Mega Millions this week. Waiting for the jackpot to get a lot bigger. At least bigger than Powerball. My reasons are very different than MM's reasons, but I'm hoping that we'll see a ridiculously large jackpot in 3 months or so. By that time PB will either have been won or be well beyond the current record. Totally guessing at how lottery reality works, but it makes an awful lot of sense to be able to reprint tickets within some short window in case there's any kind of problem. You'd hope the machine knows if it's out of paper, but knowing that a ticket is illegible is a much bigger ask. Whatever causes a problem with the original ticket, the obvious solution would be an ability to reprint recent tickets.
