Playing 56 numbers on 12 lines reduces the odds a great deal. I have tried it with take 5, lotto, powerball and mega millions. I did not have any luck with it though. I like the shotgun approach because you increase your chances of winning without spending extra money. Saving $5 for 4 weeks allows you to play 20 lines in one shot without spending extra money. It takes discipline to seat out 4 drawings without playing, but I buy quick picks, so it does not matter if I seat out for 4 drawing

If that cash value remains 66.66% of the annuity value the advertised annuity jackpot will be $396.5 million.If that's the range MUSL thinks is reasonable they might just advertise it as an even 400, since that will probably create a much bigger frenzy than 396.5, even though they're practically the same amount.

so if I flipped a coin 5 times and it came out heads 5 times in a row, I'd still have a 50 percent chance of getting heads again on the 6th coin toss? After all, the coin doesn't pay attention to what people think. I would say the chances of getting heads again would decrease and the chances of getting tails would increase after every flip where I got heads consecutively.

The determining factor for me is how much taxes are going to increase in the future years. I'd rather pay the bulk of the taxes now before the rates go much higher. This way you only pay taxes on the interest earned going foward.
