Does anybody work (or know anybody working) for a Lottery ...
That makes sense. I can't see lottery employees giving anything away free that they are not giving/making available to everyone else or passing out to places that sell tickets. I am sure the written restrictions on them as employees are a mile long. I have a friend who works for a business that has in the past done business with the state lottery and she cannot even play the lottery per her contract. She was not thrilled when she took the new job and found out about all the restrictions she had

Connecticut: 1/1 - 1/31/2014
Clerks will shut down their machines early in storms. They don't care about their customers. The store that I play at EVERY DAY who knows me like clockwork will still do it. They don't care. I recently told them that I'm taking my business elsewhere. By contract they are to stay up until the draw suspension, unless their store is closed at that time. It's up to the state to enforce their own contracts. They don't!

Are there any advantages to NOT being anonymous?
The answer is yes if the winner meets 3 criteria. First, the jackpot is HUGE. Second, you are the SOLE winner. Third, you have a unique TALENT to market in that small time slot that you are on camera and the world is watching. Look at all these reality shows where everyone is trying to get tv time to turn it into big money. Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton are famous for being famous. Thats it. No talent. However, they found a niche and made millions selling perfumes, clothing lines, and wealt

The New Mega Millions Game - So Do You Like It Or Not?
The problem is that people who think like you aren't selling tickets and probably never will. You should take a closer look at thelotter contract and see what they are really selling, you may only be buying the chance to win up to a million dollars if you match all the winning MM numbers instead of its jackpot.

NJ $338 million Powerball winner and ex-girlfriend in court over money
Totally agree. Together for 10 years, have a kid together, have a business together, why not just get married? But since they didn't, then she should have signed the ticket with him or gotten a contract drawn up. I never heard about a couple winning this JP; when news broke it was all about him, he bought the ticket, he had won it solely, there was no mention of her being a co-winner. I feel sorry for her but I think she's only entitled to get what he feels like giving her. I'm sure she'll get a

Wyoming lottery seeks logo designer
I always wanted to design some sort of lottery game ticket. They do not do calls for submissions (like typical artist calls for submissions where the results are juried) because they would have to pay the artist royalties for the life of the product (license the work) and the copyright/ownership would remain with the artist. If they hire a company, it is a work for hire and the contract will state that the lottery commission owns the work and the designing company is paid a flat/fixed fee (t

My jackpot games 2013
marcie, I will post my Powerball drawings on my own thread from now on because my California Super Lotto Plus contract has expired again and Mega Millions are in a new matrix. I matched one white ball (5) with the winning numbers of the Mega Millions draw for 10/18 are 5-20-45-48-56 Mega Ball 1. These are my predictions of the Powerball draw for 10/23. 6-11-15-20-23-27-31-35-41-44-50-55 and Powerballs: 8-10-22-30

Outsourcing Pa. Lottery management bid deadline draws near
Opponents of the outsourcing have challenged the need to bring in an outside manager after seeing that the lottery last year broke sales and profit records that were set the year before. They also point out polls show voters consider this a low priority for state government. Whenever govt tries to undertake a questionable project that doesn't make sense, follow the money. It should be scrutinized to look for kickbacks, especially if there is only a single bidder for the contract.

Salon lottery winners settle dispute
I play in my job place work pool as well as on my own. I know we are headed for a big struggle if we ever win big. We don't have a contract. Sometimes we buy tickets to cover the players who are absent. Some times some players skip playing. We only make copies of the pool tickets and get a list of participants. The good thing is that the pool only happens when the JP is really high. When it is over + $300M
