Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
(WOW!! After all that time away from LP you haven't changed at all still the same old stubborn) (Visiondude!!!) but, to me, common sense tells me that because it's random, and each ball has the same equal chance to draw, and that negates the possibility of something being due , there is no way one can tell if you play the number 4 in the pick 3, it's gonna hit ..........and when. (Your absolutely correct each number has the same chance of coming up BUT!! they cannot all appear at the

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
CARBOB Can't say that I have but looks very interesting. I have never been a pick-3 player and don't understand the lingo. Here is somthing that I did try. Consider that a 5-39 game has 575,757 total combinations I broke this into two pick-3's (000 to 575) and (000 to 999), As you can see a few rules must be applied The formula I listed in part 2 of this post is a way to convert the set to it's numerical line value, I also have the formula to convert the line value to it's set. Windows 98 and Window ME: Getting the best possible experience
Windows 98 and Window ME are such old operating systems that Microsoft stopped all support and security patches for them years ago. Nevertheless, there are still a good number of computers out there using one of those operating systems, usually because the computer is many years old, and because it still functions, its owner continues to use it. If you are the user of Windows 98 or Window ME, you have no doubt seen one of the Upgrade your browser banners at the top of the page as you brows

Data streams for prediction purposes
I'm in the process of establishing history data bases for the Texas Daily (Pick) 4 games. Seems I can have 3 data streams - 1 for day draw, 1 for the night draw, or 1 combined day/night draw. I've searched the LP files and others for advice. Seems other folks have the same question. Keeping 3 sets of information seems redundant, not to mention the time involved. To resolve the issue, I've monitored the pick 4 drawings, as shown at the Texas Lottery Commission website, and have concluded tha

Engineer reported bad Tenn. Lottery computerized draws
Tennessee Lottery was slow to act, even after repeated warnings from many players; many call for the return of real lottery drawings The Tennessee Lottery appears to have been slow to investigate reports of a major flaw in its new computerized drawing system, even in the face of multiple warnings from players. Lee Lemonds and his wife watch The Wheel of Fortune every night and because the lottery drawing comes on the same television station, they usually see it as well. It didn't take

N.C. Lottery trial: prosectutor calls ex-commissioner 'crafty'
Former lottery commissioner Kevin Geddings is a very crafty individual who chose to deliberately withhold information about his work for a lottery company, a prosecutor said Wednesday during closing arguments in Geddings' federal fraud trial. His duty was to the public and not to himself, Assistant U.S. Attorney Dennis Duffy told jurors, who received their instructions Wednesday afternoon and were scheduled to start deliberations Thursday. During his 90-minute statement, Duffy describe

Ken Ring on the Moon
A Case for the MoonWe all know the Sun radiates heat to the ground and causes evaporation, from the puddles on the footpath to the oceans and rain forests, yet there is no way the Sun can cause the evaporation to fall back to the Earth. Moreover, it can rain at night, when there is no Sun in the sky. The Sun cannot make it rain or snow, something else must be responsible. There is only one other thing in the sky capable of exerting the necessary huge forces that would be required. The Moon has
