Since I don't play as part of a group I've never considered a $100 a drawing as a reasonable betting strategy. At that scale the rules of the strategy would probably change, for example I wouldn't be concerned about the most likely 10 or 20 bonus numbers to hit. It could turn out at that scale my win percentages would increase to the point that I wouldn't lose any more then I do now. I'll have to add that to my list of things to consider when I get some extra time.

Yeah, I don't use anything but filters with the RLP. I like RL's wheel component, and I've been working on a method that might help increase lower tier prizes significantly. A little more back testing to make sure it holds up well, then I'll share. :)

This all is making me increase my quick picks which I rarely do. I am now going to do them about 1 out of 3 times. I got a decades of dollars quick pick and had 2 numbers so got a free ticket. I had not won anything for a while.

About 33 million tickets were sold (19% of all the possible combos) so we're still not even close to a jackpot frenzy level. The increase from the previous drawing was 23% so it might take a few more rolls before the frenzy starts. The last time the jackpot was over $200 million on 2/11/12, about 50 million tickets were sold so while that level might excite more players, it's not exciting as many as it did just 4 months ago.
