RL's DMP-HT lottery tool is ready for download
Frenchie Missouri uses a RNG to draw numbers, what I am finding is that each game has to have it's own set of rules. Even midday and evening require different algorithms. So far I am making headway with P-3 and P-4 evening draws. In the last 25 games the best the program has done with P-4 is to hit 6 of the 7 rogue values. If I can average 1 pick-4 straight every 100 games I would consider it a big success. It's looking like it may be possible but only time will tell. The reason I

NJ BA's 48 pair finder revisted
Lakerben, I was trying to get this done before the MID drawing today but was distracted by my kids (they were hungry!!). BA has used this in the past and says that if it doesn't come the next draw it will the next. I used KS as an example to see how it would go. This can be a little time consuming but not too bad. The last line is usually the most difficult to get quickly. I did have to go all the way to January before getting it. 728 971 232 487 166 500 044 353

What pre-tests do to our game(Pick-3) - a simple simulated(game) random generation test
Here is something I posted yesterday. Notice the increasing percentage of the doubles, particularly on midday. Mind you this is a live ball drawing state, not computer. But sometimes I wonder... When I see something like this it makes me wonder just how random the drawings really are. Can you imagine if the same percentage of doubles were showing up in the pre-tests also? I guess the officials would say every thing is fine. lol May 28 Midday 115 We have had 5 doubles in a row now

7-Day Trending Number Breakout Alert - 578!!
I was a little disappointed that the 578 combos didn't take off like I hoped they would, but they haven't done badly. New Jersey drew 875 in their Midday draw today and the 578 combos were still in Tier 8. This one may not be over yet. Here is today's workup so you all can make your own calls. I did this because these numbers seem to be pretty hot today. I have highlighted in blue the numbers (other than 578) which have fallen straight today already. When we did this last year we found that a lo

Systems Vs. Numbers-The Big Question
IMHO Most folks who visit LP want someone to tell them what to play. If they win - great. If not, they can blame someone else. Winning any lottery game demands a lot of time and work. I'm a systems player. I need about an hour to update my files, another hour coming up with integers that, according to the data, have best chance of winning. One of LPs experts, BobP, said in a recent post that lottery systems have two components - mathematical and holistic. I don't believe

A Hexadecimal Keno Perspecitve
For the purpose of this post, I'm talking about 20 numbers drawn from a pool of 80. If we look at it as 0 for numbers not drawn, and 1 for numbers that are drawn, we can generate a drawing as an 80 digit binary number. Take a step back, and we can express every 4 digits as a hexadecimal. If we compare the hex digits against each other, each digit has the same chance for each hex digit occurring. Hex Chance 0 0.308 1 0.108 2 0.108 3 0.035 4 0.108 5 0.035
