Minnesota man comes up with 2nd big lottery win
A Minnesota man has claimed his second major lottery prize in less than 17 months, hitting a Gopher 5 jackpot last week worth nearly $875,000.
Anthony Fusaro of Plymouth, Minnesota, won $1 million playing Mega Millions just last year.
It's just pure luck, the 46-year-old Fusaro said in a statement issued Monday by lottery officials. I've always believed it would happen again.
Fusaro won an $874,766 Gopher 5 jackpot in Friday's drawing. He claimed his Mega Millions prize in June 2015.

Do you believe every combination has the same probability?
Lucky!
I guess we will never be on the same page!
If I were playing the lottery as a 'job' or 'income stream', I would no doubt have a wall full of charts with arrows going up, down and sideways.
But, lottery gambling is entertainment in my world, in lieu of a lot of other options.
I know I may not ever have a significant win, but that's OK
Do you keep track of how much you spend going to the movies, buying a hamburger, etc??
You can never recover those expenses.
When I buy

Do you believe every combination has the same probability?
It amazes how you math folks always use the exceptions to try and prove your beliefs.
The Virginia and Mass incidents were pulled off by folks who went to great lengths and expense over a long period of time.
Everyday lottery gamblers don't have the smarts and financial resources to take advantage of the weaknesses of a lottery game, even if they
know of the possibilities.
Who knows, maybe there are groups of people who are currently exploiting or trying to exploit other games that w

Pair Sums
Pair sums is a term for working with the sum of pairs whether it be the front pairs, back pairs, or split pairs. Makes sense, right?
Sometimes it's easier to find a pair of number to play than a single digit. Some people prefer pairs. I got new license plate this year. They have four digits. Two sets of pairs. Or one set for the Pick 4 drawing?
Maybe that's the lottery commissions master plan? New plate with four digits will plant the subliminal message to play Pick 4? The state NEEDS our

Couple finds winning lottery ticket, tracks down rightful owner
Doing the right thing can pay off in more ways that you can imagine. One man in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, says he is living proof of that.
That man and his wife found a winning lottery ticket in Saint Clair and returned it to its rightful owner. Then, in a way, the man hit the jackpot.
After the couple found the winning ticket in April, they went through a long process to track the rightful owner down and return it.
But since returning it, they have been quite the lucky couple. T

Take5 NY
I hope this doesn't generate 30 pages of mostly nonsense!
Have you ever watched the New York Take5 mechanical ball machines at work?
A couple of indisputable facts:
1. The machine has no memory and is dumb as dirt.
2. The machine doesn't know in advance which 5 of the 39 balls will get through the exit gate.
3. The machine doesn't know that balls with specific painted numbers have escaped through the exit gate more often than other balls.
4. The machine doesn't know that certai

NewYork Take5/39 Jackpot game.
Alpha Numeric Substitution - choosing integers according to an Alpha Signature - hasn't been very effective.
I've had a few Free Play wins, but nothing significant.
When I used ANS for Texas 5/37, my guesswork achieved several 4/5 wins.
The only 5/5 I had was not played.
I was preparing for Christmas in San Antonio and skipped the drawing!
I've had more success with abbreviated wheeling.
I think I've got enough data to begin that process for Take5.
There are a couple analyti

NH family claims $487 million Powerball jackpot, wants 'to do great things'
Lawyers for a New Hampshire family claimed a $487 million Powerball jackpot on their behalf Monday, saying the winners wished to remain anonymous but would do great things with their newfound wealth.
Attorneys for the family's new trust claimed the prize at a news conference after weeks of suspense about the identity of the winner of the nation's eighth-largest lottery jackpot. The winning ticket for the July 30 drawing was sold at a Hannaford supermarket in Raymond, a town of about 10,000 re
