Annuity vs. Cash Option
Thanks, Ms Emily. Yep, if I win more than I spend, I consider that pretty good.I forgot to mention something in my original message. I have been told (hear-say, you understand) that EVEN if you take annuity, you need to set up a TRUST and collect the winnings in it. That way, the payments are made into it, and can go to your heirs, or whoever you choose, even if you are long-gone. Which means: if the winner dies, the money keeps coming, it doesn't stop at the moment of death.I'm not an expert

Annuity's Thoughts - Jan 20th
All,Today I'd like to bring up tomorrow's Mega Million drawing. $50Million, not too shabby eh. I'd like to talk about the Mega Ball. It seems like #27 came up two straight time. However, there are 10 #s that have not come up once since the inception of the game in May. Out of those 10#s, eight are odd, two are even. I think i'm gonna play $8 worth using those 8 odd #s for my Mega Ball pick.Good luck to all. Remember, choose Annuity. It just makes so much sense.Peace Out Y'all.

Annuity's Thoughts for Tonite
As tonite winds down, I can't help but to think that tonite, someone became an instant millionaire with his/her powerball winning ticket. Maybe no one won. Boy, wouldn't that make it exciting for the week to come. MM jackpot being $50M, Powerball would be approaching $70M. It's a new year and no one has hit the jackpot yet in either games. Which game will be won first? Which state will win? Who will win? What will the jackpot be?Stay tuned... and remember, choose Annuity.

A Message to Todd
Hi Annuity,There is certainly a big cash bias voiced by many members of this site (I prefer it myself), but you are certainly welcome, and you are free to voice your opinion. It would be a boring place with nothing to discuss if everyone felt the same way about everything.Yes, I am the one who built, hosts, and runs the site. I greatly appreciate the kind words.I have never requested donations, and as Webmasters everywhere know, the ad market is pretty pathetic right now. As far as contribu

A Message to Todd
Todd,I'm just curious if you are the person running this great website. Did you create this? Is this your site? I didn't come here try to offend anyone. I just came here to voice my opionions. How do you generate revenue on this site? Sponsors? Is there a paid section? I wanted to know if you accept contributions. I'm not sure if regular members here contribute (finacially) in anyway. Running a site can really be difficult. Believe me, my companies have several. Can you please tell me the

Warning! Warning!! Warning!!
You know I was talking about the politicians and not the people there. And what is point B in your post mean? You talk about me going off on a tangent.........geesh.I will betcha you are an annuity broker.......I would almost bet on it. I was trying to tell everyone that they should take the cash and after their initial tax..............................taking the cash you wouldn't have to pay tax on it again if you just put it away in a safe place. I don't think that is a tangent. The politici

Playing the Lottery can be Tax Deductible
Annuity is Great,You are making the rounds today. Thanks for your input. LOLI agree that if you win $50 million it's not worth it to keep a tax log. The question is, how many $50 million jackpots have you won? I have not won any yet, but plan to one day.I have won 5 out of 6, 3 different times, and each of those times I did maintain a tax log and it did save me money at tax time. So, in my opion, for those that plan on winning more than $599.99 and less than $50 Million, the Tax Log is a gre

Warning! Warning!! Warning!!
Sandy,You're way going off on a tangent. I never brought up family values or any political agendas here.First, govt taxes everyone on everything for various reasons. There is no double taxation on lottery winnings. Whether you take cash or annuity, it's taxed once. For stock gains, there's a cap on any gains whether long or short term and again, it's only taxed once. Correct me if I'm misinterpreting here.....so you're saying:A) all people in Washington are stupid. Are you talking about the
