Old Lottery Tickets
I have a collection of old lottery tickets from OHIO. When the Ohio lottery started they had weekly drawings. I have tickets from every week when they had the weekly drawings. When they came out with the daily drawings i tried to keep a ticket from the first drawing of each individual game. When they started instants I tried to get a ticket from each game and did for a few years but they started coming out with too many instants at the same time. I too was wondering why ticket sales died a few days prior to the drawing. Hard to figure why. Although in previous years the drawing was held on January 1st as opposed to this year's drawing being held on January 7th. The mad rush to buy tickets in previous years usually peaked on New Year's Eve. Last Saturday was New Years Eve, and ticket sales were very heavy that day, so maybe the later drawing date had something to do with it. Just a wild guess on my part. G5

Does not buying tickets on day of drawing = "Can't win"?
Just curious here, it seems like most big winners purchased their tickets on the day of the drawing. I have certainly noticed that I have had a lot more $1-$4 winners when I bought my tickets on the day of the drawing. The only times I seem to win anything when I buy on any other day are when I go board with all the mega balls when playing MM. I'm just trying to do anything to lift the curse of Can't win lol

You missed where I said could , but the winnings from the drawing were Tipton was convicted for rigging went unclaimed. Is there any way in which this drawing was different than the drawings that have result in unclaimed jackpots? Nobody said the drawing Dawson won was rigged so of course it was different. Just because the winning went unclaimed doesn't change the fact the drawing was rigged.
