PA Super 6 $12.5 Million!
Actually that's nothing to get excited over. It's obvious this game has died because of Powerball being introduced. But I just realized tonight that the last time a winner hit in this game was on JUNE 21st! That's over 2 months ago! And since then it has only gone from $3 Million to $12.5 Million (annuity). That's really sad.CASH Only, who do you e-mail at the PA Lottery? Maybe if we get a campaign going, they'll get rid of this game and get something better in here.

i'm new to this
I want to add that, if you were to hit Lucky for Life , you would have to notify the Washington State Lottery each time you change your address (or keep a PO box) or if for some reason the (quarterly?) check doesn't come. What if the company selling the annuity to the lottery goes bankrupt? If you die before the guarantee is over ($1 million?) your heir(s) would have to worry about making sure they receive checks until the Lottery's obligation is fulfilled, and possibly have to pay inheritanc

How about 40% plus state tax maryland 7% OR NJ no state
lottery prizes taxable?Lottery winnings of $600.01 and over are subject to Federal Withholding tax. For winnings of $600.01, up to and including $5,000, you will be issued a W-2G form to report your winnings on your federal income tax form. For winnings of $5,000.01 and over, your state's Department of Revenue removes the 27 percent federal withholding before you receive your winnings check (or, if it is an annuity, from each winnings check). You then receive a W-2G form with each check to submi

The Rock says that there was no winner in The Rock's who wants to be a millionaire The Rock's Version. The winner number that The Rock had in his head which no one guessed was 2.6. The next jackpot for tomorrow will be $2million dollars after taxes of course. Now you all need to choose from 1-25 and remember only 1 pick per person and cashonly no annuity only lump sum in The Rock's game.The Kindler, Nicer, Gentler Rock

MUSL "Hot Lotto" $3.6 million ($2,020,000 CASH) Wed 7/10
I have NEVER played it, and I don't expect to unless Connecticut (won't), Pennsylvania (Super-6 almost certainly replaced with a PA-only game), or Rhode Island (it would fit in but unlikely there) pick it up. When DC joins it WILL give Hot Lotto a major boost because it does not have an equivalent game, and the DC Lottery is heavily played. MUSL seems to give its games 12-18 months before deciding to pull the plug. People who play the Mass. 6/42 and 6/49 (both are ANNUITY-ONLY) and Tri-State M

mega million ANNUITY
exactly right, let the big dogs eat just once. then you are a free man. let's say mr. happy is marginally right with some of his paint sniffing induced rambling's on were our economy and tax scenarios are headed. if you take the lump sum it is yours. if you didn't like they way our govt was going, you could go somewhere else with your money (another country). can't do that with an annuity, you are stuck. gives new meaning to take the $$$$ and run !!!........v - dude

PA Super 6 really is dead
And Powerball (since PA joining) has yet to offer a jackpot double its minimum! I _STILL_ would like to see Hot Lotto replace Super-6, although I was told it just about isn't going to happen. A replacement game for Super-6 should have a prize potential of $5 million-$10 million, which probably wouldn't happen in a 6/38 game. I would consider a 6/49 game, 2 plays/$1, players can select ALL their numbers, the choice of cash/annuity made AFTER you win. The jackpot would be CAPPED at $10 million;

Listen up Jabronis
The Rock says that you are correct Happy. That poor child will be broke within a years time fro she took the lump sum. The boyfriend aint going know where until the money is all gone and through her inexperience of handling such wealth she will blow it all away or loose it in some stupid investment through some con brokers. So happy The Rock says that if ever you are ever as lucky and as fortunate as The Rock and win such wealth you take the annuity so that you do not wind up back in the poor ho

For CashOnly, update to my previous thread
Someday22: A. Why couldn't they have had Mega Millions stickers printed soon after they knew about the name change? B. That is a poor excuse to keep the 6/49 and 6/42 games annuity-only. (From a player's standpoint, or even the Lottery's, there is NO real excuse.) C. Even if MA were to allow more lump sums, their should be just ONE in-state six-number jackpot game in companion to Mega Millions - either the 6/49 OR 6/42 OR (my preference) a NEW game with 46-48 balls. Mr F (?), you should tell t
