$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
Wonder why they keep changing the estimated value? The headquarter know right away any winning tickets in each prizes and the total amount of tickets purchased in every states. Yet the jackpot is estimated and change frequently. Not that I complain about the increase value, however why don't they get it right instead of keep guessing.

$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
CollegeLad again....Not too surprised to see the JP increase but nevertheless it's shocking to see a prize amount of 540,000,000 on my QP's I just bought. Im glad I kept all my MM tickets frm web the JP was at 170 million. We've kinda got A part of history to see the first half a billion+ JP. I highly doubt this will roll do to the staggering number of tickets sold. And I also highly doubt it will b just one winner. But Doubts are wrong.

$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
There will most likely be another increase of at least 50 million tomorrow. Less than a hour after I bought my ticket that said 476 million, they increased the jackpot to 500 million.

Powerball at $2.00 - Mega Millions at $1.00 and a Record Jackpot
I agree. I havent bought any powerball tickets since the increase. The economy is in the tank, why double the price? For $2, I get 2 shots at either the MM or my state lottery, or one of each. Been buying only MM, no powerball.

Does anyone think the Mega will roll-over again?
I'll figure it gets bumped up again, to $375 million. That would be an increase of about $61 million for the cash value, and that would mean sales of about 190 million tickets. Selling 190 million tickets would put about 70% of combinations in play, and there would be about a 30% chance for a rollover.

MM will hit where ?
I agree! But, there are many people in this state that are morons and all they see is how unfair Walker is being. My husband has had his benefits costs increase and the coverage decrease. He doesn't even have a pension. Sorry, there won't be any tears or sympathy from me. The rest of the normal world has had to fork over more money. Time for the state employees to do the same. And good grief...it's not like they're still even CLOSE to what normal society is paying. Sickening. What really gets

Anyone else think MM ups these numbers as we get closer to generate buzz to sell more tickets? Seems like a marketing move. Glad to see it increase.
