Should we test kids in number picking ?
it can't do any worse than a quick pick..
In fact I will be having my 7 year old pick 5 lines tomorrow for saturdays PB draw.It can't hurt or be any worse luck than I already have lol

Are you more likely to pick your own # or QP's when the jackpot is Huge?
It depends on my mood and not the jackpot but most of the time I just pick the Quick Pick.
At any rate, whether you pick your number at random has nothing to do with whether or not that number is going to win.

Cali Powerball players: How much wagering for first draw?
In CA you sure can get 10 lines on MM, I've done it many times before.
I'm assuming PB will be the same, since the playslip is the similar layout. You get 5 plays of self pick or quick pick, plus select up to 5 more additinoal QP lines for a total of 10 on one ticket.

Would you tip the Store Clerk if you won big ?
I say it depends. I frequent the same store to buy my lottery tickets and have gotten to know the 3 clerks there so if I won ya I would tip them because I like them. If it was anywhere else where I didn't know the clerk I would say no simply because I always go self pick so the clerk has nothing to do with me winning or not. If I was a quick pick player I would likely tip them out of gratitude even though they obviously have no influence over which numbers the computer randomly selects. Sounds l

Great work @ nb3377
I got, 637 Saturday, and 736 today, and yesterday I played, 637 and got it as a quick pick. So I slammed 637 and 276 hits, the number I played on Thursday night, for a co-worker, I told her to play her quick pick back, 726, I played it Thursday and Friday.
I tell you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Ignore the fact the percentages favored the jackpot not being won by 5 to 1, the one winning ticket was still only one out of over 32 million tickets sold. Nobody beat the odds, they just won, right?
No they did not beat the odds. They were victims of innumeracy.
(now wealthy victims i might add)
And I dont think it was a quick pick. It was a partial quick pick

Winning $217M Powerball ticket sold in Virginia
Ooh, could it be that Jack W. won the jackpot through Virginia again?
Dear fellow members, where on USAmega.com does it show past jackpots being won via 'quick pick' or 'self pick' tickets?
