N.J. man claims $338 million Powerball jackpot
Sooner or later all the system people, programmers and lottery analysts, will understand this simple and undeniable truth. Until that day comes, the QP's will continue raking in the mega jackpots.

Ohio Classic Lotto (6/49) at $16.6M/$8.3M cash
Now that PB was won and MM is still less than OCL, I played the 10 lines I posted on the prediction board. Not have any experience playing after a combination of 1-17 just hit, I couldn't decide what to play. I'll probably play OCL for the next few draws while MM and PB build up their jackpots to made them worth playing with their harder odds of winning.

When do you know a Multi-State JP is really high?
$320M is nothing. The media's senses are dulled at this point. Remeber that the 2 largest jackpots for both PB MM happened in the last 12 months. I think if we roll again, they will get on the bandwagon.

$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
This current run is moving up faster then the big mega million jackpot and the big poweball jackpots that were previously hit. This run has had 12 rollovers now while the big mega million one was a result of 18 rollovers. The big powerball one was the result of 15 rollovers. just one more rollover here and i think you will see the jackpot higher then the poweball all time record. 2 rollovers and the mega million record will be beaten. Can you imagine if California had been able to play the last

$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
Interestingly, joshuacloak, a few of the top jackpots listed [in this entire ranking] as SINGLE state selling the winning ticket, were actually a ticket held by lottery pools 7-30ish players in size. [Not that I currently advocate joining lottery pools. Instead, I recommend not even promising to share, OR forming/joining immediate family members' lottery pools. Though I think it fine to, after winning, invite up to four 18+ year-old family members/friends to claim the jackpot (in a lesser %

$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
13th-largest US jackpot ever; 9th-largest cash value By Todd Northrop For only the 17th time in the history of United States lotteries, a lottery jackpot run-up has crossed into $300 million+ territory. The new high-water mark of $320 million for the current Powerball jackpot was achieved after no winning tickets were sold for Wednesday night's $260 million grand prize. The lump-sum cash payout value of Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is $198.3 million. After-tax cash and annuity prize

$100.00 for a draw ?
Hi rowlettewheel, Since the odds of winning the PB and MM jackpots are 1 in 175 million even buying 100 tickets wouldn't seem to give you great odds of winning the jackpot. Now with 100 dollars spent you would still have a greater chance to win the lower prizes but getting something like the 2nd place prize, 5 numbers probably would make any difference. The most tickets I've bought was 5 tickets for a draw.

$100.00 for a draw ?
People have reported that they've done it here, sometimes up to $1,000 on the really big jackpots. They usually come back reporting the same results as those of us who've spent enough for two or three or five tickets though.
