We all read posts and think we know what the writers are trying to say. Some post one thing and try to say something different. When THRIFTY says BUYING MORE TICKETS DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS , he is right in spite of what he may think. Buying more tickets REDUCE your odds. If the odds of winning are 1:175M with one ticket then buying five tickets reduce those odds to 1:35M.

In most games your odds remain the same when you buy a ticket, but there is a game in KY called Five Card Cash and your odds decrease after you buy your ticket. It has an instant win feature and the odds of winning something increase if you don't win instantly.

These large jackpots are a joke. It's not even exciting anymore when you see 1 ticket win. They should remove some numbers and increase the winners.

I'm guessing, if nobody hits tonight or Saturday, next Wednesday's jackpot will also increase by only $10 million, to $80 million. After that draw, though, if it is not won, it will finally roll by more than the minimum.

Hi Mouth. The lost depends on how you play the game. Like I said in the past post, you don't have to really play 10 (but in doing so will increase your chances of winning) You can play fewer numbers and gang a profit. Please refer to the past post and find out how.

Thrifty you got it wrong. If you roll a dice the odds of rolling a three are 1 in 6. But the odds of rolling a 1,2,3,4,5 is 5 in 6. The odds of rolling the three don't change... it's still one in 6, but by covering other combinations you increase your odds of rolling a winner.

Chance of winning +/- odds. Of course the odds/chances against each individual ticket remain the same, however each ticket you buy knocks off a potential combination thereby effectively increasing your CUMULATIVE or OVERALL odds of winning. If it's 1 combination out of a possible 175 million that wins, You still can increase your CUMULATIVE/OVERALL odds by playing more tickets/combinations. Granted, the difference is neglegible but it IS a difference.

Increase, I appreciate everything that you are doing in this forum, had alot of success with the numbers; but looking at your recent postings, it seems as though you have the same result numbers for 28th as you have for the 27th.
