I am curious as to why so many lotteries have apparently switched to letting computer draw the numbers rather than the old way of having the ping pong balls select the numbers. It seems to me it is wide open to cheating by the various lotteries when it is computer selected since it would be very easy for the various lottery operators to simply write a program to determine what sets of numbers have not been drawn and let one of those be the winning numbers thereby making the jackpot grow everyone

So to think that you can come up with a system on lottery pick x games to overcome a 50% house edge, that to me is stupid. I'd rather play more on scratch games which have typically smaller 35% house edge and big jackpots, and also a few bucks here and there on other lottery games. Some people might call it genius.

I go back and forth on MM and Powerball...sometimes I play neither and just stick to my local lottery... I NEVER play pick 3 or pick 4..mainly because I simply just do not know very much about it, but from the little I do know, it seems a little tough to win the larger jackpot prizes, but then again, I could be wrong since I admit not knowing much...I tend to personally choose to spend my money on games that have bigger jackpots...

Meaning you have tried to hit the Big Ones and have constantly come up empty handed and resorted to playing the pick 3, pick 4 or any of the lesser paying jackpots due to your frustration. I have tried playing for the lesser amounts with more success. How about you? * California gets PB in April, but the pilot light has been lit.

I doubt it, games with odds of 1:57 to win $2 aren't worth remembering to play until their jackpots are $15M+. OCL seem to payout more prizes once it reaches that point indicating more people are playing. It has to get even higher before they start adding more than than the standard $100K after each drawing.
