Thanks everybody! It was weird. At the grocery store this a.m. I added 016 and 610 and asked for a quick pick. The quick pick was 160. Wish I would have wheeled it at that point. Boxed 4x was wonderful though - was wondering how I was going to get my daughter's school supplies. Good Luck tonight Ohio!

Interesting way to play pick 4 if you like a digit in a certain position.... take a playslip, mark it quick pick and mark your favorite digit in the play area in place 1, 2, 3 or 4 The machine will choose a number for you using your digit in your selected position....the other 3 numbers will be quick picked. I bought a single line quick pick ticket for PB today and I got the 14-41 and 55 from the previous drawing. What are the odds that I will win a jackpot or a second prize with 3 numbers from the previous drawing. Man it really sucks. I get frustrated even when I get a single number. The shotgun approach applies whenever you buy more than a single line quick pick or self pick. Buying multiple lines is cool if you increase your chances of winning without spending extra money. How often do you get a 5-hit when playing your 6/49 lottery?
Just curious about the 5-hit wins achieved over the long run. The question assumes any playing strategy, including quick picks, simple tickets or small wheels (playing with more numbers) or even random combinations. For the poll, any playing strategy up to 20-30 tickets maximum is considered acceptable, however winning via lottery pools is not considered for this poll. never would have crossed me mind to get that one if it were not for the quick pick. She needs to go ahead and bring in that overdue 1968/8916 ! I got one more quick pick for tonight 7031 which I really don't think has much chance of hitting.
