Weak Powerball Sales?
Stack, you can increase your chances of winning by spending $5 to $50 per drawings on any lottery game. I am a big fan of buying 1 quick pick ticket for jackpots games, but I am changing my mind after reading some of your posts. I feel that we should play whatever we can afford.

Weak Powerball Sales?
They could atleast increase the lower prizes. Two numbers gets a free ticket. Two of five plus pb pays 20$. Maybe they should call it PonziBall. Big investments, promised returns.

Weak Powerball Sales?
Google powerball sales since price increase. Every single article/link agrees with what I (and others with the similar arguments/comments) have been writing: publicgaming-dot-com: Powerball Sales Remain Strong Despite Higher Ticket Prices KULR-dot-com: Powerball Lottery Ticket Sales Up newspressnow-dot-com: Powerball Sales Stregnthen Despite Ticket Price Increase applevalley.-dot-patch-dot-com: Lottery Sales Up 20% Since Switch to $2 Ticket csnews-dot-com: Powerball Sales

When Mega Millions Goes To $2/Ticket
In theory the $2 a pick sounds great but considering powerballs constant minimum increases so far (could there be another minimum increase tonight?) it might not work in the real world. I cant see the public supporting two $2 games seems like a lot of money to shell out each week.

Powerball at $2.00 - What jackpot level do you start playing?
The jackpot increases so far have been only the minimum $10 million. I think it will probably increase by at least $20 million if it is not won on Saturday though.

Powerball at $2.00 - Does this change cut in to your budget more?
Another interesting point is that, historically, sales usually are high on the run following a near-record jackpot. However, that does not seem to be the case this time. Sales are lower than on any other run since the Powerball-Mega Millions cross-selling agreement (in absolute number of tickets sold). The first three rolls have been the minimum $10 million increase.

When Mega Millions Goes To $2/Ticket
What is your source for speculation and May of this year at the latest? Even if they decided today that Mega Millions tickets were going to increase to $2, it would be impossible to implement by May.

When Mega Millions Goes To $2/Ticket
It will definitely affect my playing. I won't drop out entirely, but will do just as I've done with PB since the increase - play mostly the state games instead and only play the multi-state game when the cash pot is very high.
