Seeing patterns where none exist
Great Article Bryan and the authors credits are excellent. The other article is a laugh. A bunch of liberal arts undergrads who have to hire a C.P.A. to do their own taxes. LOL Huettel is only an assistant professor of psychiatry; Mack just an undergraduate, and McCarthy is a professor in radiology and psychology at a VA medical center . Oh sure, the best talent I ever received was at the VA hospitals, but not from Dr. Phil the Psychologist! LOL Mathmatical and Statistical geniuses. NOT!

Will Texas Join.....
I think I read an article here a few weeks ago that talked about MUSL and the Mega Millions Group putting on presentations for the Texas Lottery. Sounded from the article that MUSL (PB) had a better presentation. While it is true that MM is in the bigger population states, the fact that the jackpot has not grown that large since the new ball set started, may keep Texas away. The states all want big jackpots, and so far, PB is the only game that has delivered.I have a feeling that this will all be

Ga. Eve. Monday old man’s Zero
Win D I think this type phenomenon deals with FFG (The Fundemental Formula of Gambling.) Numbers do have a repeat cycle according to FFG. In pick 3 it would be about 3 draws. Ion Saliu talks about this at his website. I stumbled on this in my personal lottery study before I read Ion's article. When I read his article it confirmed my belief in what I discovered that certain numbers tend to hover around other certain numbers a majority of the time. It is because of a recycling phase they realign t

Now this is well thought out advise. Not that garbarge that Annuity Only puts out. This is the way a reputable financial advisor would lay out options for a client to consider. As the article pointed out there may be a very small group of people who would be better off taking the annuity, but I have a problem with the reasoning that it may control a persons spending habits. There has been documented cases where people have spent way beyond their annual payment. Weather lump sum or annuity, a
