Mega Millions winner forced to split jackpot with co-workers
Granted RJOh, but I was going off what was stated in the article... The #'s that won were picked #'s. Ok so from that point like I said before all pool #'s are to ALWAYS to be QP's and only bought at one store each and every time!!! Your personal #'s are to be picked and ALWAYS purchased at another store and the same store each drawing! You see when you can go to a judge and show that the pool QP #'s were always purchased at one store and only that one store each and every drawing you have sh

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I sent an e-mail to The NY Lottery and asked them what was the total number of lines/games sold for the 8/18/2011 Sweet Million drawing. Their answer was 358,957. (Total sales in dollars was $358,957) That's a little more than 9% of the total possible number of lines/games that could be sold, which is 3,838,380. That means 91% of the possible number of lines that could be sold, went unsold. And... it's possible that some of the lines that were sold, were sold more than once. (Although I doubt

22 Ohio co-workers share $99M Mega Millions jackpot
CONGRATS to the group. I like that pools have been winning lately; gives me hope that one of mine will hit soon. Hopefully tomorrow my family pool or my oldest work pool will win. My first choice is always my family pool. I say the oldes work pool for second choice because, even tho it's one of the largest pools I run and my cut is smaller, we've been playing for about 8 years and have only had small wins (not that any of the others have had any big wins ) and several of the members recen

What's with NY Sweet Million??
jacal5, you got the secret, but you missed one little thing about it. It is true that purchasing multiple lottery tickets improve your chances of winning, but you also loose more in the short run. Lotteries can only be won in the short run, and one single quick pick ticket per drawing extend the short-term for as long as you want to in order to win. By the way, it does not matter how you purchase your lottery tickets, five lottery lines on a $5 quick pick is the same as 5 single quick pick lines

Why do people play QP's?
I know, everyone thinks the sales will be big and the pool of the QP combinations will be more completely exhausted. Therefore You think your chances of winning are better because you will buy from that pool. Hogwash. What you think and what is happening are two different things : with the multiple wins from QP s in jackpot games, those results say the pool is limited and not exhausted. Furthermore it has been observed by players that the same losing sets of numbers were sold for the same game,

Five-time lottery winner accused of taking ticket from group
man its like australia is the nirvana of lotto. here theres a pool system where ea member of the pool get a ticket worth and having claim on the prize equal to the shares of the pool. ie, 10 people pool so 10 tickets are printed. ea has a claim for 1/10th the prize. agents here sell em, and people dont even know who else is in the same pool.

I'll never win any Jackpot
LottoL, I've reduced my number pool to 39 numbers for the next drawing and 6 24 are not in it. During the last 43 drawings no less than three of those 39 numbers have been in the winning combinations. 32 times the winning combinations had 4 or 5 of the numbers in this pool. For the MM April Fool's drawing, I plan to pick 20 combinations using this pool and I'll be cashing in a 3+0 ($7) that I won playing 20 lines from a pool of 40 numbers picked the same way for Friday's drawing. can someone please tell me how to run a lottery pool?
I am running a lottery pool in my office and I can tell how I do it. We are paid every 2 weeks, so I collect the money every payday Friday. There are 7 members in my pool and we each put up $4 because there are 4 drawings between paydays. I buy a mix of multidraw Powerball and Louisiana Lotto tickets with some being quickpicks and some being numbers we selected. I buy for 4 draws in advance so I don't have to keep going back to the store for tickets and I give a photocopy of the tickets t
