Kansas lawmakers considering lottery vending machines
Love them in Kentucky
You must love putting money into a machine only to find out the play slip scanner for online games doesn't work. The Keno players would love those machines if they gave change or a voucher, but they don't. I guess the scratch-off players might love them, but I doubt any of them can tell the difference between buying tickets from the machine or from the clerk.
The self serve ticket vending technology had been around for years and it's sad that the KY Lottery is using

Nice Way to Start the Day
My luck has been pretty good lately. I was in a Pathmark in NJ on Sunday and I bought tickets from an electronic vending maching. I inserted a $10 bill with the intention of purchasing (3) $2 Big Money Spectacular and (2) other $2 tickets. I pressed the One Push Purchase button (or something like that), thinking incorrectly that it was for spending the whole $10 (and not getting change). Well, I next pressed the button for Big Money Spectacular and the machine proceeded to give me (5) tickets. T

QUINTO did you play the last Monopoly game? I did and wished I would have played more tickets.
OMG did you see the amazing payouts?! I got 4 tickets for the last game - 3 of them from a vending
machine and one at the terminal counter at a different location. I didn't know until yesterday when I
scanned them that one of them paid $97.50! for TWO numbers WTH!! and another paid $463.50!! WTHH!!
I was expecting the next to nothing payout they've always been giving for that game. I didn't

Poaching for winning tickets
lol! Work and scratching tickets should not mix. In fact, I've heard more than a few counter clerks complain or remark that the *boss* does not
want them scratching tickets while on shift. Some do not care, some do it out of sight of the cameras, some just do it regardless of the rules out
in plain sight. A lady at my local store who works behind the courtesy desk balancing books, doing register, running the lottery numbers, activating
gift cards..etc, etc, etc. Obviously she is very, v

Post your scratch ticket results
Stopped at the beer store to cash the $500 ticket, and they didn't have enough.
I didn't want a check, so the lady suggested the grocery store down the street. She
told me the always cash $500's so I figured sure. The bank was closed and I wanted
cash.
I noticed they had a new roll of the new $20 ticket, and it was on 003. So I bought 003 and 004.

004 - $25 winner
Took my $25 and left. Stopped at the grocery store, got my $500 and got a new $20 tic

New York Lottery won't pay $25,000 for taped-up scratch-off ticket
Woman plans to file lawsuit against the lottery
By the time lottery officials told Patricia Manzitto that her winning ticket was a fake, she already had spent nearly half the $25,000 she thought she'd won.
But when Manzitto went to collect her winnings four days later, officials at the New York Lottery's Garden City center told her that it looked as if her ticket had been forged by taping two halves of different tickets together. Lottery officials refused to pay up.

Fla. Lottery to try vending machines... again
lol
The automated, always there, mechanical, lottery ticket vending clerk.
Too easy.
Too convenient.
Too enticing.
Come out of the checkout isle with say $8.66 change...where does it go if it doesn't
go into your pocket on the way out? Into the machine.
Lottery counter shut down? Real people went home? Go to the all night store
where the robot vendor is constantly waiting and ready to suck up your money
and dispense your tickets.
lol
They knew what they were doin
