Chuck32 - I have gotten over the price increase and I do like to idea that there's a chance to win $1mil greedy as I am in wanting to win a LARGE JACKPOT. What I do want you to clarify however is, will the method of drawing remain the same? With machines and no a computerized system?

but what if you want to avoid cashing it to cheat on tax obligation on lower tier prizes. you won't be able to if you buy it online. this is a set-up to increase tax revenue, no other reason. they know people pay unemployed or senior citizens to cash tickets but cannot prove it with a convenience store hard ticket. wake up.

Mega millions might disappear or become a $2 game next year. I feel that things are heading towards a national game. The powerball jackpot is going to reach $100 millions so often that you might not have a chance for mega millions to reach $40 millions to play.The reason they will increase the powerball starting jackpot to $40 millions and the regular $200,000 second prize to $1 millions next year is because there was a big gap between the second prize and the starting jackpot.

I do not believe you. When you see a $400 millions dollars jackpot next year, you will spend $2 for a ticket. I know I will spend $2 whenever the powerball jackpot gets to a life changing amount.High jackpots games are here to stay. They might create a big national game next year, otherwise mega millions will increase its tickets cost to $2 too.
