$212 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot surges
I believe the LP also had a Mega Million 250k winner earlier this year, I think he was from Louisiana.
Anything can happen so the chance of someone here hitting any of the jackpots is as good as anybody else...very slim chance but still possible.

Report: Ill. lottery manager short $100M on profit
They can try to blame it on PB prices, but that's not going to be a very good strategy, since overall sales are up. There were 3 jackpots that weren't fully funded yet, but the actual loss of profit to Illinois was only a tiny fraction of the $100 million difference. That minor reduction in profit was probably offset by increased profit from the higher sales.
The real question is the details of what they promised , whether or not the state changed anything that affected the profit, and the de

Do You Think That Lotteries Represent Redistribution Of Wealth?
Lotteries know the geographical areas that are going to win the biggest prizes. That is the point that I am trying to make. They do not care who the winners will be, but they do redistribute taxes through the biggest prize winners.
That is why quick picks win more jackpots than self picks. They chose the winning combination and the time and place where the Connecticut asset managers won the $254M powerball jackpot with $1 quick pick.

Do You Think That Lotteries Represent Redistribution Of Wealth?
Lotteries know when and where second prize and jackpot winners will be chosen from. They can choose any combination as the winner to redistribute taxes. That is the reason why quick picks win most jackpots.
Do you remember when the asset managers from Connecticut won the $254M powerball jackpot with $1 quick pick?

Oh great. Now MM is becoming lousier.
The regular Mega millions players are getting tired of pushing the jackpot above $40 Millions for someone else to win it.
I like the powerball everybody has to pay $2 to play the big jackpots.

RL's Digit Master Pro Big Game software download.
P-6 jackpot over here has gone as high as to ar. $ 6 mln which does not happen every day. I think I will give it a try tomorrow. I do not play that game, but such jackpots happen only a few times per year. Just a couple of sets to play.

Powerball Sales at an 82 Month Low (in terms of tickets sold)
I've often wondered if it would help if the lower prizes (i.e. amount for Pball plus one, etc.) would be increased? There must be a way to have the lower wins payout more, like a percentage of the jackpot (as in the PA Cash 5 game for 3 and 4 number wins). I know from my experience that several members of the group I formed at work became very frustrated when we hit one number and the PBall when the jackpot was over $150 millions, and still only won $4 (same when we won a big $2 on MegaMillions

Yes I look closely at cajuns sets and assume they are winners...if only we could discover when cajuns system is on point...and then play all the lines...but i have to trust my system...and Jackpots .500 batting average...and the aim of D.A.
cajuns small sets are on point because usually every line is a winner...so you dont have to play all the lines... just one...and hopefully its a 3/5 or a 4/5...i would be very happy if i had another 4/5...the jackpot is just icing on the cake at this point

Where should the money go?
Good points, Dead_Aim.
You really have me wondering about unclaimed jackpots now.

That is a good point to 'play into a trend'. I have heard of Gail Howard but never heard if she WON money or hit any jackpots?
Also all the jackpot winners from last nite were QP's/FP's so no one picked those numbers.
