Mega Millions question
Some states put the PB and/or MM jackpots on every online game ticket. I have a Cash Ball and a Pick-4 ticket from 7/3/12 showing the MM jackpot at $86 million. Since the jackpot was won, the next days tickets showed the MM jackpot at $12 million.
Krey zee probably saw the annuity jackpot on a ticket printed before the 4th and saw the $9.1 million cash value the next day.

Lottery pools good or bad?
In National Lottery, 1 in 4 of lottery jackpots are claimed by lottery syndicates. 75% are still claimed by individuals. But since lottery syndicate are made of several individuals, I guess more individuals Win in a lottery syndicate.
In UK, all winnings can be collected only by one individual. It is up to that individual to distribute winnings n a lottery syndicate.

MM jackpot $47M/$36.1M and PB jackpot $50M/$33.3
you are right... of course... it will be fun watching to see whose cash value rises quicker once they are both at the same cash value level... MM was winning this last time - hands down on the 'cv increase'... but that might just have been because of the level that the jackpots were at.
the jackpot advertised amounts are deceptive, since it is so easy to equate the two - is there some translation tool somewhere that can translate the jackpot amounts into similar language (other than comparing

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I never said the jackpots were unwinnable, after all a MM jackpot is won six to a dozen times every year and during most drawings a half dozen or more players get within one number of winning the jackpot.
It's just seems like luck is more of a factor for those who win than having a plan, but if you don't plan to play you can't plan to win.

Just bought my MM and PB tickets
We all have bills, therefore we all need to win. In the perfect utopia all players, playing all games, and all draws would win all the jackpots.
Let us therefore strive to achieve this perfect utopia.

Pennsylvania Lottery
False advertising a lottery jacpot how many would agree that lotteries does this to attract people that normally dont play. From a business stand point i would do this in deed the only lottery im here to lay claim that does this is the PA lottery.Clearly they false advertise jackpots and when they cant go anywhere with the balls they lets the jackpot be won.False advertising a win also.Scum bags im tired of the cheating with the PA LOTTERY i can care less to win in this state.Im not layin claim t

Pennsylvania Lottery
Wow it amazes me how the pennsylvania operates i call them bernie madoffs. The treasure hunt is the most fixed game in the history of the lottery with no live drawings.Clearly it is fixed like it just came out the mechanics shop.Im moving to a diffrent state i wonder if lotteries false advertise jackpots to attract people when the income isnt coming in.Like how vegas advertise the casinos at night time.Clearly its fixed im tired of the pennsylvania lottery and these scum bags clearly i can care l

How about a Unified: CAlifornia, Texas, Fla, NY Scratchoff...
Im with you dr65,why would anyone who lives here want to have someone in a foreign country win one of our jackpots or larger prizes in the U.S.?
Many countries have their own lotteries and some look great, I think the hassell of unifying the systems would be harder than what its worth.

$32 million Mega Millions ticket claimed in LA area
I don't think anyone believes it's better to play for lower jackpots. They do, however, see it as smarter not to put all your eggs in one basket (ie; the larger jackpot instead of the smaller and the larger).
And try telling this lady she was a sucker for playing a small jackpot and only winning $18,000,000. And that she should have skipped on buying that QP for that measly draw amount when instead she should be saving up for the $100+ million draws. I'm sure if she could take it all bac

Does anyone re-play their QP numbers?
I see most lottery jackpots have been won with self pick numbers not Quick Picks numbers.
Where was I that I missed the trend?
