would you play in a jackpot pool
I would not object to joining a pool of like-minded players but I would not join a pool just to be joining a pool.
I would be cognizant of the many pitfalls inherent in a pool and would not join if any and all possible objections were not addressed.
There have been many instances of this sort of thing going to court after a major win. I would not want to be a part of that.
So if the legal system can be avoided (as if that were possible!!) then count me in.
There are enough of us in

You buy a 2line ticket to pool with 1 person but they don't pay the $1
i have lurked for a while and this is my first post. hi to all.
i run a pool of 12 at work and will let them pay me later, mostly because i don't see them often. we have an oral agreement that when i see them or call them they pay what I say they owe. some will deposit in my credit union account because they work at a satellite plant that is 45 miles away. another part of the agreement is if they miss a payment they are out of the pool FOREVER. i only asked/let guys in that i trust and have

Realities of winning the lottery
The odds of winning the record $370+ million Mega Millions jackpot is greater than 170 million to one.
It's a big number and it's a hard number to put into perspective. If you play $1 each draw, it is expected that you will have to put up your $1 for 170 million drawings before it is statistically likely for your numbers to hit.
But that's based on buying only one ticket at a time. Most people buy many tickets and a lot of people participate in lotto pools to increase their chances of

Breakfast buddies file suit over lottery ticket
The article said the winning ticket came from a block of tickets and wasn't a separate ticket. It says nothing about how many tickets were in the block, and it doesn't say whether or not they were quickpicks. It's still there if you want to look at it again. As a matter of law the defendant doesn't have to prove anything. The burden of proof is on the plaintiff or prosecution. If the prosecution can't prove their claim they shouldn't win. I'd say they don't win, but juries, and occasionally

SoCal man sues to get share of $315 million lottery jackpot
As long as I've seen the receipt from a previous week, what's to prevent me from printing my own if you win? If you use a printer at work and I also have access to it my forensic expert will be testifying that all of the receipts were printed on the same machine. Even if a receipt is accepted as proof that somebody paid in, lack of one doesn't prove somebody didn't pay in. Maybe I pissed you off and you really are trying to cheat me out of my share. If there's ever a court case the decision is

Need help with dream...(not numbers!)
Hi all...I need help sorting my dream. I feel our dreams can be warnings,so I take mine seriously. But because ofthings that happened prior to the dream I am confused..ok gonna start from beginning. REAL LIFE: About 9 days ago,my husband and I were bringing in things that were out our backdoor,I had sat things right out the backdoor so that a carpet cleaning crew could do their job. When they were finished Hubby and I began bringing things into our bedroom...Ok all things brought in were small p

Filtering by Type and Repeats
I did a brief search of LP History looking for 2 Specific Filters, Type of Draw (S D T) and Repeating Digits. I was specifically looking for any posts that combined these 2 filters. I found very little with the Search Words Singles, Doubles, Repeats . Several Variations produced very few relevant posts.
This is so Basic it has to be written about somewhere.
Type of Draw.

Simulating the pool for the next draw/s
Let me give you a simple example of a concept of using the Sum parameter to recreate the POOL.
Concept Every Sum will randomize the pool by using INTERVAL POINTS, meaning each Sum brings range of sums. Lets test this assumption(forward-testing) MI, then we can make some observations.

FLORIDA MEGA MONEY MONTHLY LOTTERY POOL AGREEMENT
By (name)
This is an agreement for our MEGA MONEY pool; this is not a contract making you play monthly.
Drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night. The cost to play is $2 per drawing or about $18 per month. No partial dues allowed. Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Our pool has finally run out of money. We played a total of 35 draws - 18 Mega Millions draws and 17 Powerball draws. The pool started in September and ended with the Powerball draw on December 20. We won a few dollars here and there that helped extend the life of the pool. It was amazing there was always a large jackpot to play for close to 4 months.
A lot of fun and a lot of chances to become a millionaire for very little cost. So I joined the next pool. We have tickets for tonight's Powe
