I think the only stupid ones are the ones who failed to see that the argument was not about remaining anonymous but allowing ALL states the same freedom of choice. Ok - so the PB guru's set up a game with poorer odds than they want because they expect that they will not have to pay out at that level. However, there is still the very real chance that the jackpots will be won at lower levels than they wanted , which will make them find this to NOT be as profitable of a game-change as they wanted/expected. Am I getting this correct here?

MM has 104 drawings a year and while I don't know the exact average of jackpots, 20 is less than 20%. In over 80% of the drawings you have a zero% chance of winning the jackpot. I'm still willing to pay $1 on MM or $2 on PB for a dream, but I fully understand that out of the 651,915,940 $1 dreams bought on the last MM jackpot, only 3 came true.

I play MM and PB since these games have bigger jackpots more often.MM and PB odds of winning are bigger than state lotteries, but they have a HIGHER PLAYERSHIP=MORE #COMBINATIONS BEING SOLD=MORE WINNERS. I will play my state lotteries when they allow us to play online like Illinois or England.We should have the choice of playing online and at lottery retailers the way they do it in the UK.I do not like lottery subscriptions and the advance play feature.

It's just variance, that happened to favor the players so far in PB. Over time the trend will probably die down, we'll see less winners and bigger Jackpots.

Hey Jackpot, I'm kinda surprised you don't have 1 and 2 in your jackpot line as those are the numbers that are the biggest jackpot winners overall. Wonder how many more you'd hit by just adding those 2. I see there were 2 jackpots last night I believe with your numbers. Gr8 job!
