Running an office Powerball pool is discouraging
With 50 PowerBall tickets, I can guarrantee at least a $3.00 win everytime that you play. Have you considered doing this? Get 10 five-draw play slips; on each of the white ball sections, mark the Quick Pick box; on the Powerball sections, play each of the powerballs 1 to 42, and on the last 8 remaining Powerball sections, mark the Quick Pick box. You're going to get the Powerball at least once, guaranteeing at least a $3.00 win. And in fact you increase you're odds of winning the Powerball from

Which is your choice? QP or Human select
I think I'll start a new poll. Which question is asked on LP more often? Quick pick or your own numbers has been asked so many times, I believe it could become a new game show or make its way into the Lottery Hall of Fame. I don't agree with your figures, but in the end, being lucky is probably more important than how you choose your numbers. The couple in that tiny town in GA who just won MM said they used birthdays of grandchildren. I select my own numbers and occasionally buy a qu

How many draws do YOU go back ??
Although a pattern may result going forward, I believe it is virtually impossible to determine a pattern going forward and correctly pick the numbers that would fall into place. I am not saying that one cannot win by analyzing the numbers because I know some people have done so. But I do say the extremely low odds of winning are not improved by analyzing the numbers. One could just as likely win by picking just some random numbers, playing special numbers, or buying a quick pick as they would by

Do you trust quick picks generated by the Lotteries?
The reason why I ask this question is because I have come to the inescapable conclusion that I don't! I live in Arizona, and I play the Arizona Pick (6) lottery. I've studied the last 50+ drawings of the AZ Pick (6) lottery, and I've detected some very recognizable patterns. About 90% of the time, 1<= B1 <=13, 4<= B2 <=21, 11<= B3 <=30, 16<= B4 <=39, 24<= B5 <=42, 30<= B6 <=44. And the sum of all numbers is between 100 and 170, about 90% of the time. I've t

Mega Millions Picks
Does Mega Millions allow you to pick some of the numbers yourself and some quickpicks (on one line)? I play in New Jersey and get quick picks all the time but when i play powerball in PA powerball does allow you all the options (Q6, Q5, Q4, Q3, Q2, Q1) that is you can mark some numbers you like on the slip then mark the quick pick option also (let computer select the remaining) for one play I'm not sure whether megamillions in Jersey allows you to do this... (if i sound confusing what

Why choose your numbers?
here is my formula.... i've been successful picking my own numbers in the pick 3 and pick 4.however with the pick 5 and jackpot games i think the quick picks tend to do better a lot of times.good luck.

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
The main objective here is to document my selections before the actual draw. If there are those in the Quick Pick Community who would like to challenge this topic, then document your selections here at the Lottery Post. Post your Quick Pick Selections on the Prediction Board and Prove It.

Jackpot Win at my usual store!!
A recent newspaper article stated Even states with the same GTECH terminals may run different or modified quick-pick software in their terminals. I wish someone would explain this to me in simple English. Is it random or isn't it? Do I have the same shot at winning if I get a quick pick at any lottery retailer? Yes it's random. Different seeds, diferent software or a different location is no different than any other method you could use to choose your numbers randomly. Until you figure
