Stores on Georgia State line crowded. Brought 300 tickets for Tuesdays drawing.
Reminds me of the old days before MegaMillions and PowerBall came to Ohio. When ever their jackpots were $100M or more, I would drive to Michigan for BigGame or to Indiana for PowerBall tickets and would have to stand a line for twenty minutes or more. Today I bought a paper where I usually buy tickets and no lines or customers, probably won't be any lines when I pick up my tickets on Tuesday night either.

$290 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
It seems that's the way big jackpots are won, playing one of the top matrix numbers again on the lower matrix. If you've ever played with several people somone will say, We already played 20 . A lot of people just don't get the concpet that any one of the top numbers can also show on the bottom.

$290 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls again
Well, maximumfun, we've learned from researching past MM and PB jackpot winners, of big and low sizes, that some have won with playing their first time for a $1 wager AND a couple have won after playing each drawing for two decades spending anywhere from $1 - $100 wager EACH draw! Most of the jackpots were won via quick pick #s, yet some have won with #s chosen either a first time or a series of numbers that the gambler has used for a couple of decades. That's a huge gambit of variables, no rhym

Almost-millionaire on a 15-year political pilgrimage
How many people have missed such a deadline? Must be less than 5... worldwide... in the history of jackpots. So when we talk of bending the rules for EVERYONE, keep in mind we are taliking of just a handful of folks who got lucky. Give the guy the loot and NO to deadlines.

Can Powerball go back to $1.00??
I hope it goes back to a $1 a ticket.. personally I am boycotting it.. refusing to pay $2. I don't think they increased the jackpots enough to warrant that increase and I KNOW alot of other folks that are boycotting it as well.. I think if enough were to boycott it, they would consider setting it back? What do you think? LottoMomma

Powerball: more than 60 $1M+ prizes in less than two months
They did say bigger jackpots, more millionaires** . Doesn't seem like it, but more than 60 tickets worth $1M, $2M or the jackpot have been bought since the game change in January. I wonder if they will be able to keep pace and hit 400 winners by the end of the year. Would be great for marketing if they could get that many. ** Of course, that is millionaires before taxes.

Rhode Island woman, 81, claims $336 Million Powerball jackpot
Yup. The jackpots are always won by senior citizens or rich people, of course you have leave Mr. Duke out of the equation. Why Seniors always win? because they are the majority that play the freaking games.
