When Mega Millions Goes To $2/Ticket
We have to remember there are states that offer both games and each state is responsible for the secondary prizes. If PB sales are down because of the price increase or lower than expect jackpot sizes, but if MM sales are up, it could be a wash or even more profitable when the MM jackpot is $100 million and rolls a couple of times. If both games were $2 a ticket and both jackpots were at near minimum levels, it would affect ticket sales more in the states that offer have both games and becaus

Weak Powerball Sales?
god im all for dropping lower prizes altogether? i mean if you dont walk out with a wad of cash in your hand and a big grinn on your face, why bother winning. $2 or $20 just doesnt do it for me.. anyhow could the jackpots slow so much that it is 6 months between wins?

patterns in the lottery games
If you have studied a lottery and identified repeating patterns then you should play the ones that happens most often and hope you have the right combination when they occur. Since patterns repeat and combinations don't, there are many combinations within a pattern. Pattern occurrences have nothing to do with jackpot sizes so there's no way to know which one will come up when the jackpots are at their peaks, you just has to accept the prizes you win.

Is 50 Million Dollars Not Enough??
Yep, $50m is enough. I played PB Saturday, last Wednesday, and I've got tickets for this Wednesday. (Got my MMs too) I even play the state lotteries like Lotto and the 2-Step. The smaller jackpots are enough to secure my retirement. The larger ones can help my kids relocate here to Texas with me, and help my sisters secure their retirements. Life is good like it is, lottery jackpot only makes it easier and better.

powerball ripoff
Everything is climbing in this country so why not lottery tickets besides you do not see people complain about scratch ticket prices and you can not win what powerball offers on those prizes. Change does suck but I decided to play along to win a bigger prize sometime down the road before I take the big dirt nap. The $2 tickets are a success because they just had a $336 million jackpot on the first run since the matrix change. I think we will see more big jackpots over the rest of 2012 and in the

Lottery jackpots may get bigger
Wow, this has become a heated debate. I think what has been said about the odds has been said. Yes, because the east has a higher population density than the rest of the USA means that a possible winner could be chosen from there because of the higher ticket sales as a result of, however, it doesn't guarantee that a winner will come from there. Since RI makes up a measly 0.7% percent of PB sales, it just goes to show that the lottery systems are completely random, since there hasn't been a co

The Lottery Is A Game That Can Only Be Won In The Short Run?
I read your thread, and I agree that most lottery jackpots are very hard to win. But it is also good to buy 1 lottery ticket to have a chance of winning which is obviously better than having a zero chance of winning. What are my motivations? To have a debate with me, you might want to read most of my posts. But I am open to it anyway. Although others might join too.
