How do you select your numbers?
I usually just use a quick pick, or if I feel lucky I will pick my own.
Would like to find a nice system to use.

Formula for not winning lotteries
However, I find it very intriguing, to say the least, how almost every Powerball winner listed on the Powerball website picked quickpicks. I must say there were 2 who didn't and played birthdays etc. I'm only halfway through the 2003 winners' stories though. One lady said she usually plays the same numbers but she is going to properly thank the store clerk for offering her a quick pick option! Just once I would love to see someone (namely me )who states the following: I'm a jackpot game fre

Do you really think you have better odds?
I really don't think that there is a guaranteed way to beat the lottery. I agree with the book Infinite Financial Freedom by Robert Sanford. I know that a majority of people play quick picks, and therefore a majority of winners won with quick pick. But think about it. There are 146,107,962 possible combinations for Powerball. Only ONE combination can win the jackpot every drawing. Do you really think that you could possibly get ALL six numbers right using a $49.99 Gail Howard system? If

Protecting your numbers
I am curerently running a system that tries to pick PB numbers that I see that will be highly unlikly that anyone else will pick. I use Random and if I am just going to pick some fast I normally use the quick pick system, because I do not believe the human mind can truly pick a random sample.
My main question becomes after you pick the numbers you normally use, do you protect your numbers and use truly random numbers so that you can decrease the chance that anyone else picks the same

Unlucky,or gods help?
Sometimes,i play like 20-30$,and cant even hit 3 numbers, and other times ,i play 1-2$ and able to be very close to hit stright,or hitting box.Is that means, that no metter, how much you spend, you still wont win,if this is god's will?Do you think, because you cant hot box,is because your unlucky,or god wont let you win, because if you do,you may take, for example drugs, and go crazy,if you get a lot of money?I heard, about people you spend,a lot of money playing lottery, and pick 4,and others(true story)

Canada's Super 7
super 7 is bad!! yeah, i know the story, if you don't have a ticket, you can't win. i had 3 tickets..lousy free play. i won 5 numbers 3 times..about 150$ max payout. ever since i found the wheels here at LP, i play the western 6-49 almost every draw. i do the 14 number abbreviated wheel. hit 4 numbers 4 times in about 10 weeks of playing. it's only 50$ for a 4 number win, but i bet no one playing in canada can say they got 4 ...4 number wins in 3 months on quick picks. sure it's not much of a

Georgia midday quick pick
I'm doing a few predictions now for GA. I am also logging the quick picks as they are posted on the qp thread. I have narrowed the actual GA Machine Generated quick picks down to about 5 members that actually live in GA. I hope that I haven't left anyone out. The reason for doing this is to track how often and how soon quick picks actually show up in the drawing after they have been issued. I live in SC. I do the same thing here. The results have been very good. In SC on the average we g

quick pick or your own numbers
Quote: Originally posted by LOTTOMIKE on February 22, 2006 Quote: Originally posted by LOTTOMIKE on February 24, 2005 do you quick pick or choose your own numbers? or both?
i just noticed the quick pick or your own numbers thread has just hit the one year mark.i've learned a lot just watching all the responses.always good to hear what people think on the subject!
Especially when you bump your own threads constantly, and make them seem like they are very popular.
