I really can't, it's just too hard to go by individual intervals of the JP. Who knows what was happening then: PB JP values, Friday versus Tues,(Friday inc is higher) holiday, terrorist attack, etc. The JP is a derivative value from the main value I'm looking at: Sales. An increase from 344 to an even 400 million? I'm sure the MM officials are hoping to bump the final value before the drawing, but such a small increase considering the size of the advertised jackpot demonstrates a serious lack of confidence. Well if this happens, then the prize should be split 50/50. But this is a good reason for online lottery purchases. Play online, with a credit card. If somebody wins, then there is record of the transaction and money can be deposited directly into my account. All I have to worry about is getting stoned by members of LP if I decide to go back to work the next day.

According to the Poisson cumulative probability distribution, if you include the non-winning draws before the matrix change there is about 84% chance of a winner in this draw or any of the previous ones. Really not that significant. Sales have not really increased after the change, and with odds of more than double the prior matrix likewise it will take longer before there is a winner. Honestly, I don't understand the fanfare with the previous $205 million and current $230 million jackpots. L
