I believe it was 1.21bn. so not much of an increase. It's a perfect storm to have a record annuity jackpot. If it rolls, it will be a record. Don't think 2bn, but at least 1.7. and it's a Saturday draw which is their highest sales day. Interesting nevertheless.

She could choose between the $650k cash amount (pre tax) or $50k every year for 20 years (on the lottery website the prize is indicated as $1,000,000 ($50K/YR/20YRS) . Age would matter if it was a annuity paid for life . This prize is paid in 20 years irrespective of the age of the winner.

Here is the problem and I recall I seen a story about I think or I forget what it was. Well my dad, before he died, I told him the story. My dad passed in 2016. Someone had taken the annuity and I asked him about that. My dad said it's no one's business what the person does. it's up to that person , reasons that the lottery ha 2 options. Everyone is different. I sure do hope a member from this site does hit at least 5 numbers.
