Hi Fun, I've always claimed in person. I've both read on the boards and chatted with folks here in FL who've sent in via mail and never had a problem, but I'm always thinking I'll be the exception, lol. My nearest office is about an hour away so not a terrible drive. I'll save a couple/few before making the trip. For the first time in history, the winning Powerball jackpot ticket was sold at a Vermont retailer, Vermont Lottery officials announced Thursday. The winning ticket was sold in Middlebury, at the Short Stop gas station on Court Street part of the Jolley chain of gas stations. The owner of the lucky ticket, who has not stepped forward to claim the windfall yet, won a payout worth $366.7 million spread out over 30 years, which they could take as an immediate cash payout of $208.5 million.

Isn't that usually the way ??? Something odd about the new jackpot increase::::: Previous draw was at $9.63M/$6.28 Cash The new draw is $10.09M/$6.38 Cash So the Annuity goes up $460,000 and the Cash Value goes up only $100,000.

Did Michigan increase Cash Payouts?
I remember Michigan started the Cash payouts for $1,000,000 annuities at $654,266 before dropping them to $634,517. I just recently read on the official website that a player selected the Cash amount (which they said was about $693,000 ) instead of the $1,000,000 annuity. Did they announce they upped the payouts and I just missed the announcement or wasn't there any statement released at all?
