Why don't they cash the ticket and split 50/50? It's found money for both parties. If they let the ticket expire then it's nada.

It might be worth it if I found someone who could figure out a way to claim it anonymously. There will always be some minimum fee, but regardless of what type of advice you get or how good is it what justifies a fee that's 10 times the minimum if you were to win ten times as much? How about winning a billion? I'm just a tad skeptical that he'd have to do 10 times as much work. That guy probably won Lucky for Life which paid $365,000 per year for life. So if a young person wins, and lives to 95yo, they end up getting a larger total sum of money than the person who dies before 20 years is up. LfL paid a minimum of 20 years, so if you die it's paid into your estate only until the minimum 20 payments have been made. I believe the new Millionaire for Life which took the place of LfL has a similar payout plan.
