$1.7 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
I believe Wild Bill is just imagining that he is in a pool of 80 and his work doesn't mind all the time it takes up with a possible end result of everyone quitting the job destroying the company if they win. They should have won many, many more smaller prizes than he claims they do with that amount of tickets weekly. We had a pool at work once and it was just drawing one name out of a hat. That took over an hour to organize and collect the money weekly. Never mind trying to extract 10.00 from 80

$1.7 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
Thank you for that wealth of information! We have had tons of $2, $4, or $10 ticket winners over the many years and only won $50 3 times but never $100 under the old matrix and when the tickets were $1 rather Powerball or mega. Through out the years we started winning bunch of $4'ticket prizes or sometimes several $7 ticket prizes but never ever crossed pass $50. As far the return rate I appreciate you breaking that down but never ever got close to any $50k return rate so that should tell you so

Pick 3 Reduction System with HOLD feature
Only numbers that were obtained from the previous run are in the pool.
That's the part that doesn't work for me. After I click show me to get my results and click COPY and my results go into the pool on the right, I select new hold numbers. When I click SHOW ME for the 2nd time, it still shows me results from the original pool of 000-999 instead of just from the new pool with my 1st results in it.
That's awesome you built this! It's such a simple tool that can be of great use to s

Group of seven friends win record $1.01 million Virginia Cash 5 jackpot
I ran a lottery pool at a previous workplace and there was no chance of that happening. When I bought the tickets, I gave copies of them to every member of the pool so they would know exactly what tickets belonged to the pool. With copies of the tickets in hand, the members could check the drawings themselves to see if we won.
One other thing I did was when I bought my personal tickets, I bought them at different times and at different stores from where I bought the pool tickets, again red

Who would you form a lottery pool with?
Recently I read of pool of coworkers up in Canada who won a million and it got me thinking, most of the time in the stories about lottery winning pools the pools are made up of coworkers. Rarely find one about large pools of extended friend/family groups. And I don't think Ive ever read of a neighborhood based pool, like residents of an apt building for instance.
Is there something about coworkers that makes you want to join up with them to buy lottery tickets more so than other people in

Wheel for NY
I do appreciate your post. But also correct me if I am wrong, but how can a .50 Straight+Box pay the same as a $1 Straight+Box play? It s no matter, but it does relate to the overall point you made. In NY I don t think you can play a .50 cent Straight+Box, it has to be a dollar (.50+.50). So of course what you say is valid from a how to look at the whole picture, but I also know that that would never be an option to do with this. Maybe I look at pool differently I don t know. But based on your e

Mass Cash News
With regard to those of us in my pool, you're presupposing a few things that may or may not happen.
I do agree that getting tied up in court is one thing that could happen, but I still don't know if The Mass Lottery can even handle or will allow a group subscription. If they don't, then the pool wont be playing Mass Cash. If The Mass Lottery does allow it, should they cut checks very soon after a big win, any court battles that ensue would be the problem of the individual member of the pool

I have a math question
your first pick 4 question (googled 38 choose 4 gave 73,815) is correct for when 4 balls are coming from the same pool.
But your second question is unclear. Is each ball coming from a separate pool? If each ball is coming from a separate pool then you just multiple the size of pools together (11*19*23*19) there's no need to divided by 4/3/2/1.
If they're coming from the same pool..then i don't see how the first ball can be from a different range than the second ball and so on.

Take5 NY
I cant wait to get to work today to see how my T5 buddy (Phil) did last night! If he didn't hit anything and because I hit for 20 bucks, I'm gonna hammer him!!! I told him not to do QP's, but did he listen to me????? He never does listen to me. The thing is, in 2004 he hit T5 for four numbers (his biggest hit ever) and I've never done that. Phil never ever lets me forget the fact that he's hit four numbers. Sometimes I wish that old fool would retire.
Phil's in the pool that I run to buy Penn

You have been in this Pool " forever" & decide you done- you walk away..
I think it would depend on if the winning ticket was purchased using rollover funds from the previous drawing.
Let's say I contributed to the pool for Tuesday's drawing and the pool won $100, but instead of the $100 being divvied up, the $100 is put towards buying tickets on Friday but on Friday I decide not to play anymore. If the pool then wins, could I not claim a share since my Tuesday winnings helped to pay for Friday's tickets?
Normally I would say that whenever a person leaves a po
