It doesn't really matter how many tickets you buy unless Lady luck is on your side. When the Mega hit 300 millions I bought over 20 dollars in two seperate tickers, and I couldn't even get the mega ball. I came close of winning the whole thing when I picked my own numbers back in December of 2009. I only came short by two numbers. Last night's winning numbers 12 14 34 39 46 +36 weren't totally within the 95% parameters. matched: digits sum gaps range 0 = 194 6 145 2-20 35 1 = 85 2 = 12 3 = 3 4 = 0 5 = 0 PB #36 was from the top 24th repeating position but because 5 of the higher rated positions had the same numbers it would have been rated at 18th. Now that both MM and PB jackpots are reset I'll work on refining my ideas until their jackpots are worth playing again.

I look at the numbers for cash 3 and cash 4 and wonder how they keep going. I guess they do recognize there would be an uprising if they took them away. But then again, they only show the winning amounts on their site. I can only imagine how much of sales that actually accounts for.In other words, they probably make an absolute killing on those games because people play them religiously, over and over, multiples at a time, yet rarely win.I never played those games when they had real ball drawing

fact is if you reward match 4 out 6, 5 out of 6, at cost of jackpot, stuff like this is bond to happen I agree, if the point was to design a game with larger payouts and jackpots won at $2M-$2.5M then they should have designed a game that was easier for everyone to win, not just the big spenders.

True if you're only looking at the jackpots, but the overall odds of winning a prize playing MM and PB are 1:40 and 1:35 while the overall odds of winning a Classic Lotto prize are 1:54 and that prize is likely to only $2. It's only the jackpot size that makes it more attractive than the other two games. Still with a jackpot of $105M, PB may attract more players Wednesday. Fortunately, OCL has no competition on Monday.

Ohio has a 5/39 game and the overall odds of winning something every time you play are 1:8.7 but its jackpots hardly ever get over $300K. If you're the type that like to do a workup of previous drawings before playing, it's almost impossible because the drawings are daily and there have been over 2400 of them. I prefer to have a day or two between drawings so I can enjoy planning my next move.

Thanks General and Kapla, BUT just for the heck of it I played 404 and 400 combo tonite along with 760-601 and 107 those pairs are overdue at the moment. I wish those Take 5 numbers would hit one of the Stewarts stores in Watervliet area we had two Take 5 jackpots hit in Saratoga county at two different Stewart shops this past week. Didn't Joan Ginther in Ca win 4 times ? One was $10M and I think the other 3 were measley $1M's !! My goal too is $1M - that's all I'd need to be comfy. I read a while back of someone in England (?) who won whatever big jackpot (in pounds) there was NINE times !!!!! These scratch off prizes are peanuts compared to some LOTTO - POWERBALL MONSTER jackpots. What would you do if you won some $200M ? Buy rolls of scratch offs ??? LOL.

Had the same thing happen to me many times. I'm also a member at the number one church in my town to fight against gambling in any form, so yes, I get those respones all the time. Especially when the jackpot gets really big. Of course they never ask my opinion on the matter because I would have to correct them biblically and they don't like to be corrected. But I figure all those people who have won the jackpots had to go through it too. So I don't mind.
