Which Method Won BIG AND MOST?!
Quote: Originally posted by Thomas Covenant on February 28, 2004 The question was: Which Of The Following Methods Won BIG MOST?!My answer: Quick picks. If the question was: Which of the following methods lost big and most? My answer would still be quick picks.I guess you didn't read my other post, here, I'll repeat it.>>>But I don't see that any method has the clear advantage. On the average 75% of powerball tickets purchased is a quick pick, 75% of the winners are quick picks. If quic

IL. Little Lotto system for new start-up
Hey Everyone,I'm new to the post, but I've been watching the boards for a while. I live in Illinois and I'm a Little Lotto Player... I'm not happy about the new number changes. However, I played yesterday and I chose 4 Quick Pick games which came out as:8-23-29-31-34... 5-12-25-37-39...13-15-26-30-31 and 14-18-23-31-37. The 6 games with my own numbers were: 7-8-26-28-39....3-12-18-25-32....2-8-12-21-35....9-10-20-25-38... 4-16-18-22-34 and 10-12-19-26-33. I spent $10.00 and I won $3.00 bac

Questions for Lottery Official
The following is another interesting discussion we had dealing with quick picks.Quick picks are generted by the terminal. There is no communication back to the central computer in order to generate the quick pick. Once the random quick pick is created, then the ticket contents are sent to the central system to be recorded and then the ticket is printed. There has been talk (I think on this site) that the system picks quick picks to help generate jackpot roll overs. He reported as fact that this i

How is it possible?
It is known that the distribution of numbers picked by players (as opposed to quick picks) are heavily weighted towards birthdates. The numbers 1 through 12 are way over-represented.In the distribution of quick picked numbers, few numbers appear with a frequency greater than three standard deviations from the mean. In the distribution of picked numbers, the numbers 1-12 appear to mostly be ten or more standard deviations from the mean as measured in appearance frequency. The number 7 is 19

How is it possible?

Anyone who wins the lottery, even on a quick pick, traps the winning number. Wheeling reduces your probability of actually winning per dollar, although it does raise the expectation value: If you win (in spite of your lowered odds) you will win more money than you would otherwise because you will garner mo

Game-MegaMillions for 1/27
Kristin, I feel your pain!!! :( You know, I actually do much, much better when I pick my own numbers! I switched to quick pick after the couple in Concord (the other side of Charlotte) won the powerball after Christmas. So much hype is about quick picks winning more.... but that's not my own luck. When I use my tribal gift (wink Chief :).... I do much better, usually winning something!! I'm just confused, and Cold!! Shall we not give up!! Absolutely not!!!!!! Well, it's off to bed with m

Has anyone here ever won the lottery big!
I again have to concur with Pick 4 Master. Prior lottery drawings leave clues. Lottery software, techniques, or your own analysis can help you find the clues. I play a Pick 6 game daily and on December 27 I hit 5/6 again won $1100.00. This is the fourth time since April that I have hit 5/6. I have won over $4000 total in that time and have spent far less than that. The odds of hitting 5/6 are 1 in 5,411 meaning just with dumb luck and quick picks 5/6 should be hit once every 15 years. I have don

do you thinks its better...
To play one (or more) sets of the same numbers you pick everytime for months/years? Or to get quick picks every time? My mother and I have mused over this...we decided it would be best to pick the same numbers and keep playing them (like the last jackpot mega millions winner) We have also looked over sets of past winning numbers and realized that most of the time (in mega millions) there are 3 winning numbers below 25 and 3 over 25 (including the powerball)...but there is also a chance that 4

PA Super Six is going away...
Maybe. Some people are superstitious. One of the original complaints in 1972 was that people couldn't pick their own. (pre printed tickets). Daily 3 digit games computer generated changed that. The Winner's Choice game (mid-70's) was supposed to have changed that, but it didn't last long enough since people didn't buy enough tickets to get it to operate. A similar thing happened in Delaware about the same time. Imagine that. Running a lottery and no body comes. Couldn't generate enough r
